Terrorists killing terrorists: Prominent Hamas member gunned down in Gaza as unrest grows.
KHAN YUNIS, Gaza Strip (AFP) - A prominent member of the Palestinian ruling movement Hamas has been gunned down in the Gaza Strip, stoking internecine tensions ahead of an eagerly awaited address by president Mahmud Abbas on how to end a spiraling political crisis.
Bassam al-Farra, 28, was driving to work in the southern town of Khan Yunis when he was ambushed by men in another vehicle, security sources said.
He was a judge at the Beni Suheila court in Khan Yunis and also served as local commander of Hamas’s armed wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades.
