When Spambots Attack

I got those old spambot blues this morning. We seem to be under a major attack by referrer spammers, and that’s why the “Visitors Online” counter went so high. I’m shutting them down; please stand by.

UPDATE at 12/15/06 8:44:22 am:

The attack seems to be directed at quite a few blogs, not just LGF. I’m having trouble accessing Hot Air and several other sites.

If your blog is under attack by these critters, and you have access to your web server and can edit your .htaccess file, add these lines to shut out this particular group of spambots:

(Take out the spaces in that first long line; I added them so the text would wrap…)
