The newest addition to the LGF Blog Engine is visible in the two preceding entries; there’s now a simple interface by which I can embed polls directly into LGF blog posts.

A word on the scientific validity of this or any other internet poll: there is none. These are supposed to be fun, not legally verified as accurate. There’s a very simple IP blocking mechanism that prevents people with the same IP from voting more than once. I used this rather than an easily defeated session or cookie system, because it’s a better way to block the casual ballot stuffing Kos Kid who knows how to clear cookies. And yes, this means that if you’re behind some kind of proxy (for example, AOL), you may be unable to vote unless you log on with a different ISP (or different proxy server). C’est la vie.

 Frank says:

There is no such thing as a dirty word. Nor is there a word so powerful, that it's going to send the listener to a lake of fire upon hearing it.
