In the final hours, with more than 40,000 votes cast in the two categories, John Bolton has a lock on the Anti-Idiotarian Award for 2006 but the race for the Idiotarian Award is much closer. At this point Kofi Annan has a comfortable lead, but a sudden surge could still put “Mainstream Media” over the top.
