LGF Technical Update - Technorati Tags
The newest addition to the LGF Blog Engine is support for Technorati-style “tags,” which is another way of saying “categories.” The tags are embedded in each post, but are not visible by default; this lets Technorati find and use them when indexing LGF posts, but avoids cluttering up the page. If you want to see the tags assigned to a post, click the link labeled “tags” in the info line at bottom right of each post, and the tags will magically appear under the post. To make the tags go away, click the “tags” link again.
Each tag in the little green box is a link; clicking a tag takes you to a Technorati search page for that tag. This is cool because it lets you instantly cross reference the rest of the blogosphere on any post you read at LGF, by categories. (I’ve already discovered some bloggers who hate my guts, that I never knew about before. Heh.)
