Are you ready for the new, improved Palestinian truce? Hamas spokesman: New cease-fire agreement reached.

A Hamas spokesman announced late Friday afternoon that a new Gaza cease-fire agreement has been reached following violent battles between Hamas and Fatah gunmen which left 11 dead over the course of the day.

However, both sides said they need more meetings to work out the mechanism for pulling back forces.

The agreement was announced after a meeting at the Egyptan embassy in Gaza City.

“We, the leaders of the two groups, agreed with God’s help on a cease-fire,” said Nizar Rayan, a regional Hamas leader, after the meeting. “The measures that will be taken on the ground will be discussed in the next few hours.”

A Fatah spokesman, Abdel Hakim Awad, confirmed agreement has been reached in principle.

Among the dead are two children aged eight and five.

These truces are now measured in minutes.

 Frank says:

Yes, Ladies and gentleman, even in this agricultural enviroment, We're gonna' play a love song -- This was about 1974 in Harrisburg Pa. at the Farm Show Arena, a week after the Farm show had left town... Frank never admitted to playing there, and I can't say as I blame him. But, I will never forget what a magical night that was.
