Ahmadinejad Promises an April Surprise

Sun, Feb 11, 2007 at 5:11:00 pm PST

Iran’s madman president tells the world to stay tuned for a big announcement soon: Iran: Nuclear announcement coming in April.

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) — Iran’s controversial president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Sunday his country will make an announcement in April about new nuclear achievements.

Reports surfaced last fall that Tehran was trying to produce 3,000 centrifuges and expected to meet the goal by March of this year. The report was published by the Iranian Student News Agency and quoted a member of parliament. Last month, an official with Iran’s nuclear agency denied Iran was building 3,000 centrifuges. ...

The production of 3,000 centrifuges would allow Iran to begin industrial scale production of nuclear fuel — a move that has raised international concern that the country might ultimately produce nuclear weapons.

Ahmadinejad said Iran will not come to the negotiating table with Western nations if suspension of Tehran’s nuclear program is a precondition for talks.

“If you seek negotiation why do you insist on suspension? If we suspend, what do we want to talk about?” he asked, as a crowd dressed mostly in black — some holding signs reading “Down with America” — looked on. “How come your factories and reactors are working day and night while you’re asking our factories and centers to stop its facilities? Our nation will never accept such conditions.”

The president warned the Western nations that Tehran will not permit any of its “rights” to be taken away, by word or by action. “The world must know that if they try to deny that right to us they will be the most hated nation,” he said. Applause rippled through the crowd.

Iran says tests missiles able to sink big war ships

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's Revolutionary Guards test fired missiles in wargames on Thursday which a commander said could sink "big warships" in the Gulf, Sea of Oman and the north of the Indian Ocean, the state broadcaster said.

Iran is at loggerheads with the United States over its disputed nuclear program and what Washington calls its meddling in Iraq. The United States has ordered a second aircraft carrier to the Gulf to step up pressure on Iran.

100 US, Israel Spies in Iran

He said the spies, who worked for CIA and Moussad, intended to gain access to Iran's military and political information.

The minister also said that enemies have selected a number of Iranians inside the country and trained them in other countries, adding that his ministry has identified and arrested all the said agents of the US and Israeli intelligence services.

Asked about the US invasion of Iran, he said according to the latest information and data collected by the Iranian intelligence forces inside and outside the borders, Washington does not intend to attack Iran and that the rumors about a likely raid on the Islamic Republic have all been intended to serve as a part of psychological operations.

Ahmadinejad has the U.S. under his thumb. We have proof that he is providing direct aid to insurgents fighting against us and yet we are supposed to "take it slow." Any threat we make against him will simply be laughed at. More so if the Dems win the next Presidential Election.
President Bush should challenge him to a fist fight.

Wendya,

That doesn't shock me. The left is in lah-lah land and unfortunatly those of us who are in reality will suffer at their hands. Especially if we end up with Hildabeast and Dumbo as Pres. and VP.

Our military has already suffered at the left's hands and so has our country's reputation aroud the world. The left has made us look weak, spineless and THEY have divided us. We were together after 9/11, but the left started drenching the MSM with lies about the war, our military and Bush, and now we are left with leaders like Dinner Jacket who think we won't do anything because of the pressure within from the left.

April 9 is a Bahai faith Persian feast day called the Feast of Jalal (Glory)

It is held on the first day of the 2nd month of the 19 months which have 19 days each in the Badi (Bahai) calendar.

Below is a prayer likely to be read in Iran on April 9.

The Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah, Arabic No. 14

O SON OF MAN!

Thou art My dominion and My dominion perisheth not; wherefore fearest thou thy perishing? Thou art My light and My light shall never be extinguished; why dost thou dread extinction? Thou art My glory and My glory fadeth not; thou art My robe and My robe shall never be outworn. Abide then in thy love for Me, that thou mayest find Me in the realm of glory.
"wherefore fearest thou thy perishing" equals "why are you afraid to die?"

"why dost thou dread extinction" also equals "why are you afraid to die?"

Fits nicely with the death cult that is festering in the middle east.

Incidentally,

Feb 11, 2007 written the European way is 11.2.2007------1122007=19 X 59053

Apr 9, 2007, 4/09/07-------40907= 19 x 2153

On April 9, 2003, Baghdad was formally occupied by US forces and the power of Saddam Hussein was declared ended.

The United States Atomic Energy Commission was born on April 9, 1945.

I think the signs should be an indication of what happens when you jail, kill or drive out your intelligentsia (as Iran has done)- it's all nonsensical garbage. Take the swastika one, for example. Is this the same Iran that held a Holocaust-denying conference not long ago? Now Bush is like Hitler, the same Hitler who killed or didn't kill the Jews (by their "reasoning")? Couldn't they get their pig crap straight?

I suppose I could argue their complete lack of logic but I'd be here all day and still never arrive at an answer.

These men in the picture remind me of the Hitler Youth rallies without the uniforms. I think these people are forced to show up. If they don't, they probably lose their jobs or the government takes their sons away. Notice no women are there. A lesson to our progressive, liberal American women - be careful what you wish for. You, too, may be in a hajib or a burka sooner than you think.

with Mein Kamph being at the top of the best seller list wouldn't the swatsika with you face in the middle be an honor?

These douche bags are maroons!

When the Iranians put your face in the middle of a swastika while Mein Kamph is at the top of their best seller list...

...wouldn't that be an honor?

Look at the picture. They put Bushes face in the middle of a swastika.

#87 FQ Kafir: You got THAT straight!

If I understand those crazy Baha'is, they believe the Mahdi has ALREADY COME, which is about as looney as believing the Messiah has ALREADY COME, when there are plenty of intelligent, well-meaning and informed Rabbis who KNOW that He will come, soon, but has not come yet...

Yes, Kafir, there are Baha'is in Haifa, Israel, and they are not too keen on Iran striving to rain atomic fire on them and their Jewish brethren...

Sorry, but Messiah HAS already come

Remember Jacob's blessing of Judah. The Messiah would come BEFORE the sceptre was taken from Judah. That happened in 4 AD.

Also, Messiah would come riding into Jeruseleum on an ass. Only one guy has done that.

Only on man has cured a blind man since birth, cast out a demon from a deaf and dumb person, and cured a Jew of leporsy (Mosaic law. Only time it has been used)

Their signs have English words on them.
Their main audience is America for these signs.

For their own people, they praise the Nazis and praise Hitler, and claim that the Holocaust never happened. But for Americans, they want the public to turn against Pres. Bush.

For their own people, they say or strongly hint that they are on their way to having nuclear weapons, and will use them to wipe out Israel.

But for Americans, they say that they are only interested in peaceful uses of uranium enrichment.

For their own people, Ahmadinejad flexes his muscles. Promises utopia that will come with the Mahdi. Promises a quick path to having a nuclear arsenal.
But for the West, Ahmadinejad and his men do a taqiya dance to just try to confuse, first blowing one way and then blowing another way, in a bid to put America in confusion like a deer caught in the headlights.

Hmmmm. I have a pretty good idea of how to speed up Irans nuclear program in a flash of blinding light.

115 EE  2/11/07 5:50:35 pm reply quote 0

Coming in April: Ahmadinejad's State of the Persian Revolutionary Jihad address, where he will claim great strides in the power of the Islamic Revolutionary Republic of Iran, and seek to make Persian Muslims and Muslims all over the world salivate for the beginning of nuclear jihad and the end of Israel.

While he is flexing his muscles, it might be good to have a display of US strength in the area. Just to sober up those followers of his and potential fellow-travelers who become intoxicated by his boasts.

Yeah, I know. I just think it is funny. Their heroes but they put them on protest signs. And our language.

It is my opinion that the MSM is the one that looks REALLY idiotic in this. They are being played for fools. What is the old saying? The easy person to con is a conman. Think about it MSM.

#112 JCM

Yes, but if our side nukes that big black cube (b2c3?), then they, the Muslims, don't have a gate to heaven. That is my preferred plan of action. Tactical nuke right there. Very little co-lateral damage. Just like that Islam is done as a religion.

BTW, regarding my post at #116:

I don't know if this is widely known but there is a rather significant group of Rabbi's in Israel that have been calling for this for about the last 20 years. They are getting more and more listened to.

They are also causing the Imams in Iran to worry that these Rabbis might just get it done and they (the Imams) want to pro-actively nuke Israel.

Oh you gotta love game theory.

118 geezer  2/11/07 6:14:14 pm reply quote 0

Heres a thought. Tell the users of Iranian crude that since the Iranians are developing nuke power they wont need the oil fields and we will NUKE them into a hazadous waste dump. What do you think the reaction would be. Probably a big cheer from the anti greenhouse gas crowd. Im not so sure about China.

No option should be taken off the table.

If the Iranian reserves of oil are eliminated, it will hurt all of the users of Iranian crude oil, but it will hurt Iran vastly more.

If any nuclear weapon gets exploded against the US, the assumption should be that it was delivered at the orders of the mad mullahs of Iran. The retaliation should make Iran hurt. And no option should be left off the table.

But better to work to bring about regime change in Iran, and avoid the horrific nuclear jihad situation.

122 geezer  2/11/07 6:36:11 pm reply quote 0

121 EE My thought was that the users like China would talk to Iran like a big brother. Also Iran has to have the crude sales to provide the cheapies like gas for the population to remain contented

Is this thread dead? I hope not, because I have a sincere question.

What are we going to do about Iran?

Mr. Bush shook hands with Washington Life Magazine's Soroush Shehabi. "I'm the grandson of one of the late shah's ministers," said Mr. Shehabi, "and I simply want to say one U.S. bomb on Iran and the regime we all despise will remain in power for another 20 or 30 years and 70 million Iranians will become radicalized."

#123 Squarepeg:

They're not radicalized already? Doing nothing will assure another two decades of mullahs in charge.

Things are being done, but there are practical limits...
