Here’s a terrific advertisement from Britain to counter the demented anti-Americanism endemic in Europe. This video was produced by 18 Doughty Street, whose motto is “Politics for Adults.”

In the comments for this video at YouTube, America Derangement Syndrome is raging out of control: YouTube - A World Without America.

haha, you guys have the same stupid propaganda machine like the germans in the 30’s.. You guy’s have a national dept with more numbers than your president is able to count, milions of people that live under the poverty line and never had a decent social insurance system in fact 42 milion can’t even pay it. Nice and succesfull ehm…NOT… oh and you murder over 11,000 other americans with your weapon law each year. America never improved nothing since 200 years..

 Frank says:

And all the rest of whom for which to whensoever of partially indeterminate bio-chemical degredation. Seek the path to the sudsy yellow nozzle of their foaming nocturnal parametric digital whole-wheat inter-faith geo-thermal terpsichorean ejectamenta. -- From board tape at Zappa concert, outdoors, at Blossom Music Center, Akron, Ohio, summer 1984. This quote was in the middle of a spoken section of "The Mud Club" in which a dude walks into the club with a blue Mohawk and proceeds to "work the floor, work the wall, work the monitor system. . . ." The band was having monitor feedback problems at the Blossom concert, and there are numerous references to P.A. equipment throughout this ramble. Other than that, the quote is meaningless, I guess. But great imagery!
