Markos “Screw Them” Moulitsas is going ballistic over the Nevada Democratic Party’s plan to host a presidential debate on … the horror! … Fox News: Daily Kos: Hey Harry, look at what Fox did the last time they hosted a debate.
The serious transgression that provoked this Kos tantrum? In a 2003 debate in Baltimore, Fox News had the almighty wingnut gall to use the title: “Democrat Candidate Presidential Debate.”
If you’re wondering what’s so offensive about that, apparently in the nutroots world it was a grievous insult to use the word “Democrat” instead of “Democratic.” Duel-worthy.
Oh, and one more outrage that has Kos’s knickers in a twist: there were actually … gasp! … “conservative protesters” at the event.
This is coming from the guy who encouraged his readers to sneak into the 2004 GOP Convention and disrupt the proceedings.
The “progressives” at MyDD are falling right in line, of course, and duplicating the Kos talking points: ACTION: Freeze Out Fox News. (Hat tip: Brazilian Neocon.)
