Diggbats Enforcing the Groupthink
On the page at the following link, click the buttons at top left so that only the “buries” (symbolized by the red thumbs-down icon) are shown, and you can watch in real time as the Diggbats go through all the LGF posts at digg.com and mark them as spam: digg spy. I’m seeing at least one bury for an LGF post every few seconds. Busy little Diggbats. Go! Bury!
The purpose behind marking every single LGF post as “spam” is to try to get the Digg admins to block LGF entirely out of their system, according to Digg’s FAQ.
Is it okay to submit blog posts as stories on Digg?
Blog posts are fine, as long as they’re not plagiarized. (See a definition of plagiarism.) However, if any URL within Digg is consistently flagged as spam by the Digg community, that URL may be blocked from future submissions.
It isn’t just LGF, either; they’re also going through every post from many other major right-of-center and anti-jihad bloggers and doing the same thing. Lots of buries coming through for Captain’s Quarters, Michelle Malkin, Hot Air, Jihad Watch, Jawa Report, etc.
(This Digg Spy page is fascinating; it’s a real-time view of normally hidden left-wing totalitarian tactics.)
