RetweetA Glimpse into the Heads of the Angry Left

Wed, Feb 28, 2007 at 5:59:45 pm PST

Bagging on the airheads who host The View is like shooting fish in a barrel, but today Joy Behar personified the impervious idiocy that characterizes so much of the angry left, as she called the Bush administration “liars and murderers,” then took offense at the suggestion she might be a “fringe liberal.” Hot Air has video of this crystalline moment.

(The scary thing is that she may be right. This cognitive dissonance might be mainstream.)

Fringe is the norm.

Coupled with that shameful HuffPo fiasco yesterday, it's more evident than ever that liberalism is a mental disorder.

Another deep thinker from the left. I demand her IQ be made public. This dimwit has been trying to out think Rosie and I want to know who will win that game.

13 _remembertonyc  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:07:54pm

behar has gone downhill since she became a big star. I used to listen to her on WABC radio when I lived in NY in the early 1990s and she was very entertaining and amusing. But like so many others afflicted by Bush Derangement Syndrome, it has rendered her intellectually void.

14 Killgore Trout  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:09:28pm

From the Koskidz earlier today...
If you hate this administration, step forward (with poll)

...it is hard to not wish retribution in whatever possible form toward Bush, Cheney, and the rest of the Bush cabal. It is hard not to feel hatred in one's heart, and to wish the very worst on this regime.
...
I know that hatred is said to be an ugly, nasty emotion. I know that civilized people are expected to try to rise above it, and to seek understanding. However, there are times when one stares evil in the face and calls it exactly what it is. And in such times, hatred may very well be an understandable and necessary response.

75% of koskidz agree; It's ok to hate (but only if you're a "liberal")

15 solomonpanting  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:09:49pm

It's worse to be called a fringe liberal than a liar and murderer.

Just more of the usual L3 "I can hate conservatives, but they hate if they say I'm a hater" type of BS. I can't stand the clucking voices, there's something really grating about it.

24 Joel  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:14:53pm

I wonder if in Excitable Randy Andy Sullivan;s world - having to hear Joy Behar's voice would be considered to be torture.
AS for Baba Wawa her pleading to the worst President of all time - Jimmy Carter - "be good to us" made me lose whatever little respect I ever had for her. Elizabeth Hasselbeck should demand a raise for having to be the lone voice of sanity sandwiched between Joy Behar and the carpet muncher (can I say taht at 9:15 PM EDT?) Rosie O'Donnell.

25 6patrick6  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:15:49pm

One good thing about Joy Behar in a burka - we don't have to see that face! Ooooh, does that make me a hater, Joy?

26 Thor-Zone  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:15:54pm

Why do people even waste their time with these assclowns. Rosie is a hog, Behar is a dope and they just sit around blabbing their pie holes saying nothing of value.

I hope ABC likes their ratings because as long as shows like this one run, I won't be watching much TV. There is nothing in it for me.

27 Geepers  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:17:31pm

Has Joy actually ever condemned real murderers, like say, the muslims that hacked off the head of the teacher in the previous thread?

28 6patrick6  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:18:28pm

And Rosie should be kissing the ass of EVERY servicemember for keeping our nation free, which allows here to spew that vile vomit from her mouth and abuse the public airwaves as she and her View fuglies do daily. Of course, hundred-dollar bills will sprout from my butt before that happens, right?

29 Ginn  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:18:49pm

...it is hard to not wish retribution in whatever possible form toward Bush, Cheney, and the rest of the Bush cabal. It is hard not to feel hatred in one's heart, and to wish the very worst on this regime.

This speak amazes me. They compare to hitler and desecrate all that fought to defeat evil in WWII with their lives and all that died in the camps of a brutal dictator. They compare to saddam and desecrate those that were brutally murdered by his troops and sons. They compare to all vicious dictators and mass murders of history and go to bed at night with a clear concious.

I really really would LOVE for someone to open my eyes and explain to me what I'm missing here when calling Bush hitler and our troops mercenaries? I just can't fathom that kind of speak against our country and our military.

I thought clinton was a supreme douchebag that was getting hummers everytime he stepped to the podium, but I never compared him to John Holmes or Ron Jeremy, whom for some reason I have more respect for at this point, however.

No she has never. In Beharland, Bush and Cheney are the real murderers.

25 6patrick6

39 Luigi  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 4:26:04pm

I want to go OT to post this before the article disappears. From the New York Post:

[Link: www.nypost.com...]

Israel is on an economic tear. Last summer's war against Hezbollah in Lebanon slowed things down for a couple of months, but 2006 still saw 5.1 percent economic growth. New figures out this week show growth at an astonishing 8 percent clip in 2006's final quarter.

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics has posted its own 2006 numbers, and they're astonishing, too - but in the opposite direction.

The economy of the West Bank and Gaza is in free fall. In some places, unemployment is more than a third of the workforce.

Once, Palestinians enjoyed relative prosperity by working in Israel, but those days are gone. The demand for Palestinian employees dried up during the Intifada, once they began displaying an alarming tendency to blow themselves up on the job.

The world community took over for a while, turning the West Bank and Gaza into a giant charity ward. But in 2006, the Palestinian public elected a Hamas government that's dedicated to destroying the Jewish state and refuses to pretend otherwise. Such candor has been more than even European governments can accept; they cut off funds until Hamas changes its words or the voters change the government. Neither is likely.

It's a show trophy wives watch so they can feel like they're in touch with the real world and making a contribution.

Let the idiot speak. We need to encourage the idiots to speak. Let them represent The View of the LLLeft. Sooner or later, cognitive dissonance will sink in.

70 3 wood  Wed, Feb 28, 2007 5:23:15pm

I worked for a woman years ago who behaved a lot like Behar. I'm sure you've all heard of situational ethics? Well, this woman had what I call "situational reality", she could shape reality in her head to fit her preconceived notions of how she wanted things to be. When her loser husband got fired from a sales job for goofing off and then sat around the house for a year just sponging off of her, in her mind it was due to a conspiracy by all companies out there to not hire the fool.

Well, Behar is a lot like that, I think. Rather than deal with the concept that there are evil people around the world who wish her harm, and thus there is no easy answer for making that problem go away, she would rather write it all off to Bush and just call him names and be done with it. I think life is easier for some of these moonbats to handle if they can create this fantasy world to live in. I bet Behar has no problem with a former ACLU big shot allegedly being caught up in kiddie porn either, cause that is a messy situation to deal with. So they just ignore it or deny it exists.

You don't have to fix a problem that does not exist, you see.

There are a few others, Penn & Teller's Bullsh*t!, Heroes, My Name Is Earl, Future Weapons, South Park.

Don't forget shows like Battlestar Galactica, Deadwood (canceled), Rome, etc. (though not set in contemporary America they seem to apply as a prism through which we can view contemporary American issues)

You don't have to subscribe to cable or satellite or even wait for reruns, if you know how to use a Bittorrent client. All of the shows mentioned above are available for download from Sweden.
