 RetweetLittle Green Registration Acid Test

Sat, Mar 10, 2007 at 5:12:00 pm PST

The MySQL conversion of our registration database had one small glitch on launch, quickly tracked down—I had written a variable name as $lowername instead of $lowerName. On such things do mighty lizard empires reside.

To really give this thing a Texas-style workout, I’m going to open registration to the seething masses, for an indeterminate amount of time.

UPDATE at 3/10/07 5:29:34 pm:

As I was saying ... ahem ... sometimes bugs creep in. If you registered in the last half hour, you’ll have to do it again. The email you received contained an incorrect URL for the validation address. We’re now open again.

UPDATE at 3/10/07 5:52:32 pm:

New registrations are not working for the Lizard Lounge yet, but they will.

UPDATE at 3/10/07 6:14:32 pm:

Now closed, with more than 300 hatchlings in less than an hour. Some will make it, some won’t.

Hatchlings may now access the Lounge.

Compare Electricity Prices in your area. Texas Electricity is deregulated; you have the right to choose Texas Electric Rates from among many Texas Electric Companies.

Nobody would have the idea.

 Frank says:

Yes, Ladies and gentleman, even in this agricultural enviroment, We're gonna' play a love song -- This was about 1974 in Harrisburg Pa. at the Farm Show Arena, a week after the Farm show had left town... Frank never admitted to playing there, and I can't say as I blame him. But, I will never forget what a magical night that was.
