Websense Update: Block Removed

The Kos Kidz are ecstatic over our reports that Websense wrongly categorized LGF under “Racism and Hate.” They’re celebrating and high-fiving each other here: Daily Kos :: Comments Cheers and Jeers: Thursday.
All the left’s lofty principles of free speech go right out the window when the subject is someone they hate.
But as usual, they’re a day late and more than a few neurons short. Because Websense has now acknowledged that they made a mistake, and removed LGF from their blacklist. Email is pouring in again, this time from people reporting that they can access LGF again at work.
Better luck next time, Kidz.

But there is no doubt that Websense lied to me in their first email, when they told me the “Racism and Hate” classification had not been sent out to their clients. I have at least 50 emails from people reporting otherwise.
