Pelosi Brings Hope to EuroKos Kid

A Eurokid at Daily Kos pens a paean to Nancy Pelosi, who, for a brief, shining moment, brought hope back into the poor moonbat’s benighted existence, by sitting down with the corrupt thuggish leader of a terrorist state and showing genuine empathy: Daily Kos: Let’s Give Up A Moment For Nancy Pelosi. (Hat tip: Killgore Trout.)

Accompanied by this nightmare-inducing photograph, just to make sure we have everything in the proper perspective.

What I would like you notice is her body language that is captured so well here. It expresses a genuine empathy and shared understanding and warmth with Cindy Sheehan. It was there over the last few days in her meetings in the Middle East. There was none of the stiffness that is so often seen, with the false smiles and only semi-engaged photo-op poses for those she met. There was a genuineness in what she did, a true desire to reach out and engage. Look at those newspaper photographs again and compare them to those of the current administration and their own trips to meet foreign leaders and their heavy handed and clumsy attempts to make contact with the people to whom they were talking.

Welcome back to the international community, United States. In Nancy Pelosi’s simple trip abroad is the first stirrings that we can get back the country and its people with whom we Europeans feel so connected. You give us hope.

 Frank says:

Yes, Ladies and gentleman, even in this agricultural enviroment, We're gonna' play a love song -- This was about 1974 in Harrisburg Pa. at the Farm Show Arena, a week after the Farm show had left town... Frank never admitted to playing there, and I can't say as I blame him. But, I will never forget what a magical night that was.
