As of 9:00 am, the sick, antisemitic illustrations we noted last night remain posted at Daily Kos: Daily Kos: Zionism was and remains a racist ideology. The Kos Kidz are all whining and crying about how they’re being misrepresented by the evil LGF, and how these foul images are going to make them look bad. Some of them have begged the administrators to remove the pictures.

And it’s now been marked as an “LGF diary,” apparently because the Kos Kidz don’t want to face the fact that they’ve welcomed haters like this into their fold, and would rather believe in an idiotic conspiracy theory that this was “planted” by LGF.

The pictures are still posted.

UPDATE at 4/6/07 9:25:30 am:

This story has been picked up by Israel National News, in a report on the rash of antisemitic incidents during Passover: N. American Jewish Sites Bombed and Vandalized Over Passover.

The Daily Kos blog, one of the most popular American political websites, is featuring anti-Semitic graphic content since Thursday. The Daily Kos reportedly receives 600,000 visits a day, and between 14 million and 24 million visits per month. It is often used by politicians – including Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and many others – for dissemination of their materials.

The content is featured in a ‘diary’ by one of the site’s contributors, a Belgian graphic artist. It shows a composite of Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s face and Adolf Hitler’s face holding a skull painted with a Star of David, under the caption “Zionism was and remains a racist ideology.”

 Frank says:

The family was from Arkansas. The Dad (Dink) was a furniture salesman in San Bernardino, but back in the way-back-when he used to play 'bones' or 'spoons' in a minstrel show. To relive the golden days of yesteryear he would, from time to time, force his children to accompany him (Ronnie on guitar, Kenny on trombone) in a living room replay of a minstrel routine called "Lazy Bones."

The kids often found this to be an inconvenience, as they were fascinated by, and constantly perfecting new techniques for, The Manly Art Of Fart-Burning. Kenny explained to me that it was scientific - that it demonstrated (this is a real quote) "Compression, ignition, combustion and exhaust." -- Kenny & Ronnie Williams (later immortalized in "Let's Make The Water Turn Black").
