WaPo Was Warned by Army About Lynch Story

The latest anti-war media campaign is trying to convince us that the US government routinely falsifies incidents of heroism. The Pat Tillman story has now been recycled in mainstream media at least 4 times, and unfortunately it gives support to the “falsification” meme because some members of the military did obfuscate the details of that case.

Now they’re trying to do the same thing with the story of Jessica Lynch. But as Ray Robison points out, the false reports about her capture and rescue originated with none other than the Washington Post—and they ignored warnings from the Army about the veracity of the stories: Media Lynch Mob.
