Sun, Apr 29, 2007 at 3:03:15 pm PDT

Here’s another UK TV video clip from operative Kasper, on the charges against Abu Izzadeen and five other Muslim “activists.”

Youtube Video

Also from Kasper, here’s video of Abu Izzadeen speaking inside the Regent’s Park Mosque, followed by MPACUK’s reaction to his arrest.

"How to remove the kuffir? Why, jihad, of course!

They want Islam to become love and peace! No, my Muslim friends, Islam comes to dominate the world."

He sounds so horrible that I almost question him of being a "Moby", except that no one in the mosque seemed to mind, so maybe not. (I said, "almost."

There was a Sudan rally in the park near my home today. I asked a number of people why they thought we had the ability to fight radical islam in Sudan when we don't seem to want to fight it in Afghanistan and Iraq. Amazing all the convoluted answers.

Also asked them if they realised that muslims were killing Christians there. Most had no idea thought that the GOVT was killing black tribes.

I couldn't believe it.

From Islamist Abu Izzadeen - In His Own Words - Part Two

Though a trained electrician, Izzadeen does not work, and has not worked for years. A doctrine of his "spiritual leader" Omar Bakri Mohammed maintains that British Muslims should live off welfare benefits provided by the democratic system they aim to destroy. Izzadeen receives an estimated £700 ($1,363) in state benefits each month to pay for himself, his Arabic wife and their three children.

US aircrews show Taliban no mercy
By Gethin Chamberlain in Kandahar, Sunday Telegraph
Last Updated: 1:17am BST 29/04/2007

In pictures: Fighting from the air
Video: Targeting the Taliban

Caught in the middle of the Helmand river, the fleeing Taliban were paddling their boat back to shore for dear life.

Smoke from the ambush they had just sprung on American special forces still hung in the air, but their attention was fixed on the two helicopter gunships that had appeared above them as their leader, the tallest man in the group, struggled to pull what appeared to be a burqa over his head.
As the boat reached the shore, Captain Larry Staley tilted the nose of the lead Apache gunship downwards into a dive. One of the men turned to face the helicopter and sank to his knees. Capt Staley's gunner pressed the trigger and the man disappeared in a cloud of smoke and dust.

"Terrorism is part and parcel of Islam." - Izzadeen
Hmmm, wouldn't that be classed as hate speech against Islam under the new EU thought-crime laws?

Maybe we can try him for that too, heh.

Not according to this relativist:

There's no .44-caliber Koran
It's easy to go too far while banning words in the name of preventing violence.

JULIUS STREICHER, publisher of Der Sturmer and other anti-Semitic publications, was executed in 1946 for crimes against humanity. His crimes consisted largely of words, hateful words that helped to justify mass murder.

It is a common assumption that words can kill. That is presumably why the right-wing Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, recently argued that if Muslims wished to live in the Netherlands, they should "tear up half the Koran and throw it away." There is no doubt that the Koran, like other ancient religious texts, contains violent passages about the fate of unbelievers. Just as Jews, during some traditional Passover feasts, ask God to bring down his wrath on the Gentiles who "don't know him," and many Christians believe that hell awaits those who don't subscribe to their faith, Muslims are led to believe that killing the enemies of Islam can be justified.

But are the words of the Koran, in fact, the main reason for political violence in the Middle East or Europe, perpetrated in the name of the faith?

Book-burners and others who make a fetish of words would say yes. But there is room for skepticism. To be sure, Islamist terrorists use the Koran to justify murderous actions, but the actual reasons for their holy war are generally political and not theological. Their main enemies are secular dictatorships in the Middle East, corrupted, in their view, by the decadent, soulless West. This revolutionary cause is influencing disaffected Muslims in Europe. Censoring the Koran would do nothing to stop this. Without meaning to be disrespectful to the Koran, or the Jewish Haggadah, which contains the wrathful passage mentioned above, there is an analogy to be drawn with the debate on violent movies or pornography. They too can be hateful. But do people commit crimes because of them? Probably not.

77 lawhawk  Sun, Apr 29, 2007 4:04:03pm

Not nearly OT:

While you've got governments going after bad guys who have real bad intentions to inspire others to kill Britons in mass casualty attacks, you have politicians back here in the states who thinks that the way to influence policy is to bring articles of impeachment against the President to make him change his policy.

That's right, Jack Abscam Murtha wants to use impeachment as a way to negotiate policy differences.

This is the modern Left. Personal political power trumps everything, especially national security and foreign policy.

Not surprisingly, the Apache assaults have forced the Taliban to adopt a lower profile. For the coalition to continue to be successful, commanders must hope that the Taliban do not get their hands on the weaponry that has made life so perilous for pilots in Iraq, where more than 50 helicopters have been shot down since the start of the war.

But for now, the American airmen are not losing any sleep over it. "When you are on top of the enemy you look, shoot and it's, 'You die, you die, you die'," Lt Denton said.

"The odds are on our side. I really enjoy it. I told my wife, if I could come home every night then this would be the perfect job."

The whole fucking problem in a nutshell

So here we see Abu Izzadeen (Fat Trevor Brooks) preaching anti-Semitism, religious hatred and Jihad (not the fluffy kitten "nice" jihad, but the terrorist-style "physical jihad") and beheading.

Who is he preaching this shit to? Kids. They are sitting behind him.

Where is he preaching it? The "moderate" Regents Park mosque.

Who is denying that this is extremism and blaming the UK authorities for provoking Muslims? The "moderate", "democratic" MPACUK goons.

While Muslims accept a leadership, clergy and representatives that DON'T tackle the demented scum in their midst, then they shouldn't blame the rest of us when they are implicated alongside.

The media is partially to blame, for spreading myths about a moderate mainstream and creating leaders with the glare of their cameras, but mostly it is the fault of ordinary Muslims - for not taking to the streets to rid themselves of the lunatics and the vermin that facilitate and apologise for them.

Strangely, MPACUK don't mention a squeak about this on their website. They have a whole bunch of stuff about Israel, but nothing about this problem on their own doostep.

Maybe they have some sort of news exchange policy and I need to go to the Israeli version of MPACUK to read something about Fat Trevor.

Or maybe even the MPACUK 'tards can't stomach writing any words of support for the Muhajirounies (not surprising, since Fat Trevor previously painted them as a bunch of Uncle Toms).

Of course MPACUK are far too "principled" to criticise their brothers, so they keep schtum and concentrate on slagging off the Jews - sorry - Israel.

This came out a few days ago

“We are saddened at the loss of civilian life,” Major Chris Belcher said. “It is extremely unfortunate that militants put others’ lives in danger by hiding among their families.”

I suspected then, that the American military atleast, had decided to stop the “touchy feely and sensitive” approach to warfare, and get on with what it does best, and is actually paid to do - search and destroy.

What underlies Major Belcher's statement, is that American forces are not going to hold fire just because the Jihadis have surrounded themselves with women and children.

That is truly insane.

And sad to say, it's not really all that surprising. September 11th was a huge tactical blunder on Islam's part. People started to look at Islam. And sadly, stories like this don't really surprise anyone who's learned about Islam.

I wonder what it would take to get the Iranian religious police to ban and fill in anything that resembled an open human orifice on the grounds that it is obscene and un-Islamic?

By the way, you can't get welfare in the US if you're not here legally. No green card, no welfare.

"Welfare" covers a plethora of individual programs, some federal and some local. You may not qualify for anything federal, but I wouldn't be surprised if some states (*cough California cough*) have programs that cover illegals. I know that illegals in California qualify for in-state tuition in the UC system.

And the backdoor national medical insurance that we have because of laws that require ERs to treat anyone who shows up amounts to free medical care for illegals, and that's a federal law.

The interesting thing about us using our helicopters so effectively against the Taliban is the fact the Russians did the same thing. The Taliban and Afghans feared the Russian helicopter gunship with good reason. What turned the tide were us supplying stinger missiles to the Taliban/Afghans. The Russians then learned to fear them.

Funny thing is, the Taliban aren't getting any more stinger missiles from us are they? They have no world power to back them against us and because of that; we are wiping their asses off the face of the earth. They should have thought of that before they befriended people that killed 3000 of our people. Well done USA soldiers!

Palestinians increasingly disillusioned with political parties, unity government: poll

More than half, or 53 percent, said they don't expect the new Hamas-Fatah coalition, set up in March, to be able to lift international sanctions on the Palestinian Authority. ...

Half the respondents said they feel less secure than in the past, while nearly 14 percent said they feel more secure...

Palestinians are also becoming increasingly disillusioned with political parties, the poll suggested. Some 41 percent said they trust none of the parties, up from 35 percent in December.

Support for the moderate Fatah movement of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was 31 percent, the same as in December, while backing for Hamas dropped from nearly 27 percent to 22 percent, the poll said.

Iran has their hands full too. Think about it. They are fighting us on two fronts, Iraq and Afghanistan, and also fighting Israel on the Lebanon Front. Let alone, they have to keep their people suppressed, the UN in line, and work on kidnapping British troops from time to time. We aren't the only ones stretched thin.

If they supply stinger type missiles to the Taliban I'm sure we will have countermeasures that the Russians could never dream of that will fend off the missiles.

Remember, the best weapons that Iran seems to be sending out these days is roadside IED's. Those can't be used very well to take down helicopter gunships unless they want to try to shoot them upward with a slingshot.

Be safe and be well all.

Babies born to illegal alien mothers within U.S. borders are called anchor babies because under the 1965 immigration Act, they act as an anchor that pulls the illegal alien mother and eventually a host of other relatives into permanent U.S. residency. (Jackpot babies is another term).

Along with the 14th Amendment, this is the cornerstone of the anchor babies.

Inside the struggle for Iran

A grand coalition of anti-government forces is planning a second Iranian revolution via the ballot box to deny President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad another term in office and break the grip of what they call the "militia state" on public life and personal freedom.

Encouraged by recent successes in local elections, opposition factions, democracy activists, and pro-reform clerics say they will bring together progressive parties loyal to former president Mohammad Khatami with so-called pragmatic conservatives led by Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani.

The alliance aims to exploit the president's deepening unpopularity, borne of high unemployment, rising inflation and a looming crisis over petrol prices and possible rationing to win control of the Majlis in general elections which are due within 10 months.

Parliament last week voted to curtail Mr Ahmadinejad's term by holding presidential and parliamentary elections simultaneously next year.

Though the move is likely to be vetoed by the hardline Guardian Council, it served notice of mounting disaffection in parliament.

But opposition spokesmen say their broader objective is to bring down the fundamentalist regime by democratic means, transform Iran into a "normal country", and obviate the need for any military or other US and western intervention.

Americans must understand that anti-Semitism starts like milk you feed to a baby. Children sing songs with words like, "Arabs are beloved and Jews are dogs". Arabs are taught that Moses was a Palestinian revolutionist...Jesus was a Palestinian revolutionist. In fact, all prominent Biblical characters were all Palestinian revolutionists. In the government schools they study the Quran, they are learning the hadith. Terrorism is being taught as part of the religion. By the time they are sixteen they have momorized most of the Quran. In Palestine the educators are graduates of Al Ashar University. Al Azhar University is the number one university that serves all the Sunni Muslim world with graduates and scholars. All these graduates teah the jihadist movement.Jihadist groups such as the Jihadiya from Egypt are very influential in Palestine...they teach martyrdom, that in order to establish salvation, muslims must die in order to go to heaven. Here is a little known fact of the 72 virgin thing...there's seventy-two rooms with seventy two beds, and on each bed or each sheet, seventy-two virgins. They are taught that those who die in jihad in the cause of Allah are not dead but are alive with Allah receiving his blessings. There are hundreds of hadiths regarding jihad...they talk about eschatology. Islam is filled with eschatology regarding the end of days. And what Muhhamed the Prophet of Islam said was very clear..."The day of judgement shall not come to pass until the tribes of Islam defeat the tribes of Israel in Jerusalem and the surrounding nations. The trees will cry out and the stones will cry out, "Here is a Jew hiding behind me, Come, O Muslim. Come, O Allah. Come and kill him...

When is this country going to wake up...this threat is real...it is getting worse...our educated elite say no, no, no most Arabs are peaceful, law abiding citizens. They have no idea of the reality of this threat..they say that if a piece of literature explaining this threat is written by a Christian or a Jew how can you believe its authenticity. They would rather take the word of an Arab...but not an Arab Christian...oh no, no, no...can't have that... So who are they willing to believe but Arab Muslims...the so-called peaceful, law-abiding ones mentioned above. We should ask the survivors of the Lebanese civil war...those Lebanese Christians who saw hundreds of thousands of their Christian brethren massacred by Muslims. These were the same Lebanese Christians who fought for their Muslim brethren to have equal rights of worship. Once the Muslims became a majority...it was death to all Kaffirs...all non Muslims are Kaffir, non believers..infidels... It is obvious to some that we are fighting World War III already and that it is going to get much worse before it gets any better. Iran...is the lynch pin and it will attack Israel if it ever gets the bomb...President "I'm in the mood for a jihad" has already said so...and in this I believe him.

Easiest solution is to say that in order for babies born here to be citizens, their parents must be citizens, either by birth or naturalized.

197 jrdroll  Sun, Apr 29, 2007 5:54:24pm

On immigration:

If, for example the French ambassador's wife who is here legally has a baby here in America, that baby is not a US citizen. So the constitutionality of the 1965 immigration law has never been tested.

No. It only applies to minors. You would simple apply for confirmation upon reaching the age of 18. It would be automatic, as long as you could show (through school records and other documents) that you met the residency requirements.

As an adult, there would be no ambiguity. This would not be naturalization, it would be full citizenship, including the right to run for president.

The IPs drop the insurgent, who runs away. The Marine, astonished, asks why they released the man, and the IPs explain: "He asked for mercy by Hussein, the son of the Prophet, and custom demands that we set him free." A week or two later, the Marine is captured by insurgents. He remembers the IPs, and decides to give it a whirl, so he calls out "By Hussein, let me go!" The leader of the insurgents stares at him for a moment, and then says to the others: "Not only is he an American dog, he's a Shiite too! Kill him!"

Obama: "Koskidz stink"...
Dreaming of Obama

Obama’s first year in office, he voted for cloture on the nomination of John Roberts to the Supreme Court (though not for the nomination itself), earning dozens of angry posts on Daily Kos, a hugely well-trafficked liberal blog. Obama responded with a polite but stern four-page note.

“One good test as to whether folks are doing interesting work is, Can they surprise me?” he tells me. “And increasingly, when I read Daily Kos, it doesn’t surprise me. It’s all just exactly what I would expect.”

Anyone know where to find the "four page note"?

239 mama winger  Sun, Apr 29, 2007 6:19:23pm

I'm not sure if this has been posted. If it has, it bears repeating:

UPDATED SATURDAY, APRIL 28 - Today I received the actual mailing address where you can send help if you are moved to. I hope you are.

Please note that gifts on behalf of the wives and children of these martyrs for Christ may be sent to: Turkish World Outreach, 508 Fruitvale Court, Grand Junction CO 81504, USA. Please designate such gifts for "the Survivors Fund."

If you've been moved by all of the stories this week about the martyrdom of our brothers in Turkey, then I have some good news.

You can participate in ministering to the widows and the orphaned children by supporting Operation Esther.

According to Candelin one way to show love for the five children that now have lost their fathers is to give a love gift for their future education. This love gift operation is called "Operation Esther" after the five year old daughter of one of the murdered Christians.

Gifts will be distributed via the Protestant Church in Turkey and anyone interested can contact Johan Candelin, Executive Director Religious Liberty Commission, E-mail: candelin@kilumbus.fi

Afshar went on to say the continued growth of foreign investment in Iran demonstrates the 'defeat of Iran's enemies.'

Iraqi bomb victims' bodies held for ransom

The new racket in "dead hostage taking" is thought to be run by gangs connected to the city's sectarian militias, many of whom are already involved in conventional kidnappings.

Iraqi police said the gangs often responded to car bombings, which can leave more than 100 corpses on the streets. In the chaos, police and army units seldom questioned the credentials of people posing as ambulance crews.

Ohio Church Noise Bothers Neighbors

(AP) Is it worship? Or disturbing the peace?

Neighbors of Worshippers of Christ the Warrior King Church have petitioned the city, saying screams and sounds of glory and praise coming from the building are a nuisance. But church members contend they're being harassed because of how they worship.

"Sunday morning is God's day of worship," the Rev. Troy Sowell said. "I'm not going to tell this congregation, 'You're being too loud.'"

Ameer Ali: Islam's coming renaissance will rise in the West

This revolution in information gathering has become a subversive tool and is eroding the power base of traditional clerics. The authority of the pulpit is collapsing by the hour. The traditional argument that one should be a trained Islamic scholar or an imam to interpret the Koran does not carry weight any more. There is a rising tension between the traditional guardians of Muslim orthodoxy and a new crop of secular educated Muslims, many of whom are better equipped with advanced methodological tools to handle the primary religious texts. An Islamic spring is dawning from the West.

Death toll rises in Pakistan suicide bombing

The death toll from a suicide bombing in
Pakistan rose to 28 on Sunday as investigators attempted to identify the bomber who tried to kill the interior minister.

The lone suicide bomber blew himself up on Saturday just three metres (10 feet) from Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao at the end of a public gathering in Charsadda, in North West of Frontier Province (NWFP).

Sherpao sustained minor injuries on his both legs from shrapnel and pellets in the attack. One of his aides and several of his security detail were killed.

Investigators found the severed head and torso of the grey-bearded suspect and were trying to establish his identity. Officials say the attack may have been plotted by Islamist militants.

Qaeda figure urges Hamas "bombs, fire" on Israel

An al Qaeda leader called on the Islamist Hamas group to fight Israel with "bombs and fire" in an Internet video posted on Sunday, days after militants launched rockets into southern Israel breaking a ceasefire.

"Where is revenge, where are the bombs, where is the fire?" Abu Yahya al-Libi asked members of the military wing of Hamas in a video posted on a Web site used by Islamist militant groups.

"Your loyalty to the blood of your predecessors, those loyal men, can only be through strict commitment to path of jihad ... and rejecting any other way," he said in the undated video.

Iran: Israel 'fragile and vulnerable'

The Brigadier General called Israel 'fragile and vulnerable', adding that Olmert's remarks were aimed at launching 'a psychological warfare' against Iran.

Afshar went on to say the continued growth of foreign investment in Iran demonstrates the 'defeat of Iran's enemies.'

Alireza Afshar, Iran's Brigadier General and Deputy Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Israel poses no real military threat to Iran's incredibly vast defenses.

If Iran wants to continue thinking that Israel is fragile and vulnerable...it will be to their own peril. Israel will not commit national suicide...they will take out Iran's nuclear capabilities...count on it. They have to...their very survival dictates that. This posturing by Iranian generals is necessary to keep the pressure on Israel, to try to unite the Arab world against it. They have to posture as such because defeating Israel is their ultimate goal and the only way to truly validate Islam.

The interesting thing is that many people believe today that because the world's three major religions -- Judaism, Christianity and Islam -- came from the same toots, there is no reason why the three religions cannot exist side by side today in peace. But Islam follows a theology of triumphalism -- the dominance of one's nation, ideology, or religious creed over another. Islam teaches that Muhammad superceded the patriarchs and Christ. To a Muslim, it is Allah's will for Islam to rule the world. The word Islam does not mean peace -- it means submission. Their objection is for everyone to to be in submission to them.

This is the reason the Islamic prayer tower is the highest point in every city. Tt must have a position of physical supremacy. That's the reason for the impasse between Palestinians and Jews over the city of Jerusalem. Sitting in the throat of all Islamic nations is Israel -- with an unconditional blood covenant from the throne of God that has given to the decendants of Abraham, Issac and Jacob the land of Israel forever. God didn't loan the land of Israel ot the Jews; He gave it to them.

And that flies in the face of Islam. Islam believes that the prophet Muhammad taught absolute truth -- that it is God's (Allah) will for them to rule the earth. Therefore, if Islam does not defeat Israel, Muhammad and the Quran were wrong -- and that's absolutely unthinkable to them. Therefore, they must defeat Israel. Oh they may agree to sign a peace accord, but if they do, it will be one that is good for only seven years, and it will only be for the purpose of redeveloping their army for the destruction of Israel. If Israel survives, then Islamic theology is not true.

Here is the story of one of the so-called Islamic Renaisance men...Daniel Pipes, writing for Commentary magazine's November 2001 issue, recorded the following shocking evidence concerning Islamic's loyalty to America: "In June 1991, a convert to Islam, Siraj Wahaj, a Recipient of the American Muslim community's highest honors, had the priviledge of becoming the first Muslim to deliver the daily prayer in the U.S. House of Representatives. On that occasion he recited from the Quran and appealed to the almighty to guide American leaders and to "grant them righteousness and wisdom."

But the story doesn't end there . A little over a year later this same Muslim, addressing an audience of New Jersey Muslims, articulated a completely different message from his mild and moderate prayer given before the U.S. House of Representatives. He said, "If only Muslims were more clever politically, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate" (Islamic leadership body). He concluded his remarks with these words, "If we were united and strong, we would elect our own leader and give allegiance to him...Take my word, if the six or eight million Muslims in American unite, the country will come to us."

This is not loyalty -- it is sedition! Calling for the overthrow of the United States is resistance to or insurrection aganist lawful authority.

Here is the point. This Islamic leader, selected by the U.S. House of Representatives as the award-winning model of the Islamic faith in America, is on record calling for the overthrow of the United States government. Think about that when you hear a politician, talk show host on television or a journalist jabbering about Islamic loyalty to America...

356 uptight  Sun, Apr 29, 2007 8:59:28pm

My mind went back to Izzadeen's famed dating profile.

Then I seemed to recall that he'd owned up to terrorism activities in the past.

Now I've found the article I was thinking about.

Abu Yahya said, "I have just returned from Pakistan. I joined Islamic camps and met Islamic leaders. There I was trained with Islam jihad movements like Lashkar-e Tayyba, Harkat-ul- Jehad Islami and Harkat-ul-Ansar.

"We were trained to use kalashnikovs, make bombs, everything that an army would need to wage war". Another 25-year-old Izzadeen Abdullah, formerly a white Christian with a degree in optical engineering who converted to Islam has also spoken.

He too, like Yahya, returned from Pakistan recently said, "I crossed the border in Kashmir. I think for any Muslim the most eagerly awaited opportunity is to kill the enemy.

"The Indian soldiers don't deserve any mercy and I'm happy to say that I took a part in wiping them out". He further said, "We are planning to go there next month. I'm an engineer in fibre optics, so I just contract out for a couple of months."

so there you have it. Fat Trev admits to murdering Indian soldiers as part of his Jihad

can he be tried for this? Can he be extradicted to India

357 uptight  Sun, Apr 29, 2007 9:04:50pm

CORRECTION

Perhaps the guy in the article above is a different "Izzadine".

Other details seem to fit - a convert trained in electronics, but article says he is "white" whereas Fat Trev is black.

358 uptight  Sun, Apr 29, 2007 9:15:02pm

From the evidence of this BBC article, perhaps the self-confessed terrorist murderer of Indian soldiers IS Fat Trev.

After conversion, Trevor changed his name to Omar Brooks.

This article says

One such person is Omar Brooks, a young man from north London.

"I've received military training in the Indian sub-continent and my role now is to face the enemies of Islam," he said.

359 uptight  Sun, Apr 29, 2007 9:19:42pm

Another article linking the Indian soldier murdering Izzadine to Fat Trev. Apparently Trev was a "Fibre Optics engineer".

Izzadine Abdullah is described as an "Optical engineer"

same person?

if so, perhaps India should extradite him

Don't go off half-cocked. I *strongly* recommend you do some serious homework first.

A short quiz/study guide may be appropriate:

Did you know Daniel Pearl was in Pakistan investigating the source of an email sent from Karachi to Richard Reid, the shoe-bomber?

That Pearl's body was found on property owned by the Al-Rashid Trust, according to Pakistan state television? And that Al-Rashid Trust, established by one Mufti Al-Rashid, was designated a terrorist organization by the US?

That this person apparently has been known by several handles over the years, including
General Rashid Ali el Gialani, or Jilani, or Gailani, or Gaylani, or Kaylani, or Keylani.
Mufti Al-Rashid
Shiek Gilani

And he has a rather interesting history?

Do you know he was made head of the Iraqi government in 1941, as part of an anti-British coup?

Did you know that Haj Amin al Husseini was deeply involved in planning, financing and executing that coup?

More on the Husseini / Rashid Gilani connection here:

In 1939, the Mufti [Husseini] established his headquarters in Baghdad, Iraq, where he set up a ìpolitical departmentî that maintained ties to Germany and Italy. Germany sought to create a Berlin-Baghdad Axis and instigated a pro-Nazi coup. Iraqi General Rashid Ali el Gailani, a militant Muslim nationalist, and the Golden Square, a group of pro-Nazi Iraqi officers, took over the Iraqi government. The Mufti sent representatives to Berlin and a letter to Adolf Hitler.

Did you know this same Gilani came to the US in the early 1980s to set up several Jamaat-ul-Fuqra "settlements"?

Do you know where Sheikh Gilani Lane is?
