It seems like American politics has become one perpetual election campaign, uninterrupted by any actual governing except of the negative kind. Did we used to have debates a year and a half out from an election, or am I just dreaming of a more peaceful, idyllic time?
Anyway, tonight’s the first Republican debate with all ten of the bright-eyed hopefuls, early or not, here they come: Setting the Stage: The Republicans’ First Debate.
