The wire service stringers in Gaza and their Western editor/enablers have completed the transformation into ludicrous self-parodies, with article after article blaming Israel for retaliating against the constant rocket attacks, and praising the Palestinians for one ridiculous instantly-violated “truce” after another: New Gaza truce takes effect, Israel presses air raids.
GAZA CITY (AFP) - Rival Palestinian factions clinched a new ceasefire deal on Saturday to end a week of violence that has left more than 50 dead as Israel continued to pound targets across Gaza, killing one Palestinian.
Mean old Israel is “pounding targets” and “killing,” while the “rivals” have “clinched a deal” to “end violence.”
This isn’t news, or journalism. It’s pure propaganda.

Breaking! Latest truce violated! Government convoy comes under fire in Gaza.
A convoy carrying a senior intelligence official loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas has come under fire in the Gaza Strip. The attack came just as a new ceasefire deal between rival Hamas and Fatah factions was due to come into force.
It is not clear who attacked the convoy, which was carrying Mohammed al-Masri. Security sources say he was not injured in the attack. The renewed ceasefire deal between Hamas and Fatah is the fifth to be declared since violence broke out last Sunday.
Since then around 50 people are thought to have died.
One new truce coming up.
