LA Times: LGF is ‘Hoppin’ Mad’

Tim Cavanaugh, “blogging” at the Los Angeles Times, takes a series of ad hominem slaps at LGF in a post about the Pew Research survey of US Muslims: Muslim Americans: What is the glass half-full of?

Confused by the Pew Research Center’s new report on Muslim Americans? Various good people of the anti-idiotarian-fightin’-the-islamofascists-jihadi-hatin’-non-dimmi variety are hoppin’ mad about the way the MSM have been downplaying evidence of extremism in the survey results…

If you want to smear someone as a reactionary, it’s important to thoroughly misrepresent their attitudes and views, and Cavanaugh’s obviously got the technique down.

Here’s what I wrote in the post he describes as “hoppin’ mad:”

The Associated Press seems to be having a little trouble deciding how to spin the new Pew Research survey.

One hour and 52 minutes ago, the headline was:

Most U.S. Muslims reject suicide bombings.

Thirty-five minutes ago, the same story was re-released:

Some US Muslims justify suicide attacks.

Will it change again? The second headline is actually less politically correct than the first, so stay tuned…

Whew. That was just boiling with uncontrollable rage.

I’ll try to tone it down, Tim.
