I got my first taste of Minnesotans while going to the Univ of ND. The friends I had in my nursing class that were from ND were solid conservatives. Because of the Geographical location, we had a bunch of students that were from Minn. We would get into all kinds of debates and those from Minn were as moonbatty as they come.

Our psych rotation really brought out their liberalism. It was truly disturbing to see a girl crying about a rape case, only to discover that she was crying for the rapist being sent to prison rather than his victim. I am sitting just a few blocks from the Convention Center right now. I just walked past it a few minutes ago. This is the first I heard of the event! No media or ads.

There is a rather large Somali population in MPLS. There was a big immigrant/refugee deal a few years back. Thousands of them moved in one shot.

But this convention is probably because of Ellison. Did I spell his name right? I'm not sure. I just know that I didn't vote for him.
