Several readers emailed about this incredibly vile thread of comments at Digg.com, but having seen a lot of this stuff, I thought I couldn’t be surprised any more. I was wrong. There is a bad craziness loose in the country, and reading the comments in this Digg post may make you feel physically ill; open antisemitism, calls for Israel’s destruction, fantasies about Bush and Cheney being murdered and/or suffering strokes, conspiracy theories, insane subliterate rants, and much more. Every deranged idea and delusion of the modern left wing bubbles up to the surface in this one, and it’s ugly beyond belief: Digg - ‘Wiped off the Map’ - The Rumor of the Century.
