According to the “Vision of Humanity” Global Peace Index, the United States comes in at #96 out of 121 countries, ranking just ahead of Iran and just behind Yemen in terms of sheer peaciness.

In first place is the most peaceful place on Earth, Norway, followed by New Zealand, most of Europe, and Canada.
