One of the most depraved stories from the “holy warriors” recently was the video of a 12-year old boy hacking off the head of a helpless captive, with an audience shouting “Allahu Akbar!” Clicking the picture below will take you to Liveleak, where you can watch an edited (non-graphic) version. Even without showing the actual murder, it’s very disturbing.

Not only did this story get very little press, it was almost completely ignored by Islamic spokespeople throughout the world. Where was the outcry against this horrific perversion of childhood from the imams and the scholars and the sheikhs? Where were the articles and editorials in Arab media, condemning this evil?

Well, if there are Muslims horrified by this video, they’re certainly not posting comments at Islamic Networking. At the successor to ClearGuidance, they’re just a little confused. Does it hurt or help the ummah?

i have been asked by my lads if we should celebrate this boy for fulfilling his dua of jihad as fard ayn or if his youth has caused the jihad movement more trouble among the kafr and “moderate” muslims??? can anyone shed light on this

it is a simple question
my dear brother - my question is simple: is this good or bad for the ummah? the effect of haveing such a young boy conducting the act has angered many of the very people we are trying to bring to the movement. shaykh makdisi, may Allah release him, has warned us about this. and sheikh zawahiri has too. i dont disagree with taking cae of spies but even the great emir of al-qa3da in irak, shaykh zarqawi, stopped the bheading vids b/c they angered the ummah - why are we moving backwards again with this???

How is cutting the head of an apostate/spy equate to the Mujaahideen moving backwards ? No one said the Mujaahideen were going to end videotaping their blessed work.

People act as if beheadings are something ‘foreign’ to Islaam. Jihaad is not in need of men, men are in need of Jihaad.
