Israel’s New President: Shimon Peres

Shimon Peres, one of the primary architects of the disastrous Oslo Accords and a long-time advocate of the ludicrous “land for peace” strategy, has been elected president of Israel by the Knesset.

Maybe he’ll surprise everyone and be a strong president, or at least not do too much damage. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a bad feeling about this.
