Hamas to Convert Fatah ‘Security’ Building into Mosque

That fortress-like “Preventive Security” building in Gaza that was stormed and overtaken by Hamas today, amid a hail of gunfire and horrific murder, is apparently going to be converted into a mosque.
Ramallah, 14 June (AKI) - Islamist Hamas fighters who have occupied the Gaza headquarters of the Palestinian Authority’s Fatah-linked security services, plan to convert the building into a mosque.
Top Hamas official Niizar al-Rayyan made the announcement during an inteview with Hamas’ Al-Aqsa television station on Thursday. Friday prayers would be led from the Muntada, which houses the PA’s security forces command in the territory, al-Rayyan said.
“It is just a question of hours now before the end of secularism in Gaza. They (Fatah) who used to beat up the men for wearing beard and who ripped off women’s headscarves will be left with nothing”, al-Rayyan said.
“Hamas will open its arms to those in the security forces who are willing to convert to God”, he added.
