LGF Scoop Still Marked ‘Inaccurate’ A Year Later

For some reason, we’re getting a lot of referrals from this year-old page at Digg.com, linking to our exposé of the Reuters fauxtography incident: Digg - Fake but accurate: Reuters Doctoring Photos from Beirut?

It’s a textbook study in idiot leftist denial. And I’m not only talking about the comments. At the top of the page is a big red banner:

Warning: The Content in this Article May be Inaccurate
Readers have reported that this story contains information that may not be accurate.

This “inaccurate” warning remains on the page, long after my scoop was proven to be completely on the mark. It’s a little badge of denial on Digg that will never go away, even though it’s 100% wrong.

“Social networking” at its finest. Wrong, stubborn, and ruled by a mob of morons.
