At the Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas yesterday, the FBI introduced a list of the Foundation’s foreign fund-raising speakers, seized from their offices in 2001. The list includes numerous Hamas leaders and foot soldiers, Muslim Brotherhood figures, and related groups.

And Cat Stevens, aka Yusuf Islam.

The Counterterrorism Blog has a complete report on yesterday’s session.

Here’s the PDF file with “Yusuf Islam” listed right above Yusuf Qardawi (who is probably the Muslim Brotherhood jihadist Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi).

Al-Qaradawi was featured in our October 1, 2002 edition of Peaceful Religion Watch, for a sermon he gave at the Umar Bin-Al-Khattab mosque in Doha, Qatar.

Al-Qaradawi concludes with a prayer for the wellbeing of the nation. He prays: “O God, support our brothers in Palestine, Kashmir, Chechnya, Afghanistan, and everywhere. O God, direct their shots, strengthen their power, unite them on what is right, guide them on the right course, give them final victory, watch over them, and protect them. O God, give them victory over your enemies, the enemies of religion. O God, give them victory over the aggressor, treacherous Jews. O God, give them victory over the rancorous, plotting Crusaders. O God, give them victory over the fanatic, oppressive atheists. O God, give them victory over all their enemies, the enemies of religion. O God, we ask You to face them and spare us their evils. O God, O revealer of the Book, mover of clouds, and vanquisher of infidels, defeat them and give us victory over them.”
