LGF Technical Detour: Javascript Updates

A new version of the jQuery Javascript library has been released, and I’ve installed it to check it out. It’s supposed to have some very big speed improvements, which should result in faster loading LGF pages.
Since some of you have reported problems with previous versions of jQuery, especially with 1.x versions of Apple’s Safari web browser, here’s an open thread to let me know about any conflicts.
