A midday open thread, in which I ask a question: do any of our geekish readers know if there’s a special procedure to install the latest version of the Tidy utility in Red Hat Linux? I’m compiling it from source, and everything finishes without errors, but the ‘libtidy’ file does not get installed. What ridiculously simple thing am I missing?
