Several readers have complained of hearing weird music when they load LGF, or of seeing p0rnographic advertisements. I contacted PJ Media’s ad guru and here’s the scoop:
I did a lot of troubleshooting and finally I learned that these ads are showing up for visitors whose computers have been infected with some kind of Malware. The Malware running on their system “hijacks” Doubleclick ad code and inserts an alternate ad into the display. The Malware was not given to them by PJM sites but, once installed, it can use the Doubleclick ad code we have on blogger pages. I spoke with a Doubleclick support rep and he confirmed the problem. This issue is not a problem with PJM, but a problem with users whose computers are infected.
If this is happening to you, you should immediately download and run AdAware, and that will get rid of the infection.
