When President Bush said earlier today that Iran needs to be prevented from acquiring nuclear weapons to “avoid World War III,” I wrote:

I guess it’s shocking if you really, really want to convince yourself that a nuclear Iran would be no threat to the world. To those who aren’t willfully blind, however, it’s a straightforward statement of fact.

One willfully blind Kos Kook coming up, with yet another obscenity-laced logic-devoid tirade. They never seem to get tired of this stuff: Daily Kos: Bush threatens ‘WWIII’ over nuclear Iran.

He’s going to destroy the world! We’re all doomed! Stop Bush before it’s too late!

And the moron trots out the Reichstag fire again. Isn’t it time for them to come up with some new schtick?

Warning: I am so not interested in hearing from people who choose to believe there is no clandestine agenda within the halls of this administration to bomb Iran to microscopic bits.  Talk to me all you want about voices of sanity and countermanding forces blabbity blah, but do not feed me any bullsh*t about “no march to war.”  Just don’t.

Bush talks about World War Three like it’s a steel cage grudge match, or a f*cking soccer tournament.  He has a carbide hard-on for the idea that he could be the president who looses Armageddon on the world.  His biggest regret about Iraq is that he hasn’t been able to use enough of his aerial and nuclear arsenals.  These are toys he is champing at the bit to play with before he is ushered out of the romper room.  He is a little boy with a magnifying glass standing over a mound of ants, waiting for the sun to appear.  Only they’re not ants.  They’re people.

And his bloodlust is restrained compared to Cheney’s.

Note as well that it’s no longer a nuclear Iran that’s the spectre or threat.  It’s the “knowledge” of how to obtain nukes.  How Biblical.

These people must be stopped.

Does anybody think these madmen are above another Gulf of Tonkin or Reichstag Fire, strategically timed so as to foment terror in the weeks before the 2008 presidential elections?  Especially after boiling the frog like this for well over a year?

I’ll say it again.  These people must be stopped.
