RetweetAhmadinejad: 'I Wanted to Visit Ground Zero to Prevent 9/11 from Becoming Another 'False Idol' Like the Holocaust'

Sat, Oct 20, 2007 at 9:13:32 am PDT

Iranian thug-in-chief Mahmoud Ahmadinejad explains his reasons for wanting to visit Ground Zero, confirming (as if we needed confirmation) that it was the right decision not to allow this creature anywhere near the site. (Courtesy of MEMRI TV.)

Click picture to play video. Requires Windows Media Player; Mac users should install Flip4Mac.

Interviewer: You were supposed to visit the site of the Twin Towers, but this aroused controversy and many objections in their media. What do you think about this?

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: As you know, by spreading lies and by portraying me... For example, they show my picture next to a picture of Bin Laden, or next to tanks and cannons firing and killing people. This is psychological warfare.

9/11 has led to many significant changes. It was used as a pretext to occupy Afghanistan and Iraq. It was the reason for the killing of hundreds of thousands of people. It is only natural for us to respond in an appropriate manner. I wanted to visit there last year, but there was no time for that. So I decided to visit there this year to pay my respect to the casualties and convey my sympathy to the families.

I also wanted to raise several questions and express my views. I wanted to say that in my opinion, this incident is the result of the mismanagement of the world, and the result of the inhuman management of the world. Why did such an incident take place? We need to get to the root causes. We don’t want them to turn this incident, in 20 years’ time, into another false idol like the Holocaust, which they would use as a pretext to kill peoples, and prevent anybody from opening this [Pandora’s] box and examining what really happened in this incident. They might turn 9/11 into something sacred, and whoever does not accept it would be considered an infidel, whereas whoever accepts it would have to accept all the ensuing crimes.

In any event, we must express our views. I believe that this way, we would have formed cordial relations with the American people, and could have opened this issue up for discussion. Well, this is exactly what they want to prevent.

That last bit is the important part. He clearly wanted to appeal to the far left, and feed their sick self-loathing fantasies, injecting a little more moral equivalence poison into the American bloodstream. And sadly, he would have found no lack of willing listeners among the Troofers and the Daily Kos Nutroots.

Of course he wanted to co-opt Ground Zero and completely convert its popularly understood context for a billion or so people. Even a blind person could see that, but unfortunately we had a lot of leftists who wanted to give this cretin the key to the city.

Ahmadi-Nejad is a thing that a pig excretes, at the bottom of a Persian shoe. The lowest of the low and I'm not just referring to his height-challenged stature.

We are in serious trouble when we allow this anti-American entity into our midst. His goal, and that of many in the Iranian ruling class, is the destruction of our way of life. How much more of the U.N. do we really have to take? How much more do we really need to hear from those who brazenly ask for their "god" to destroy the "non believers"?
I hope that we wake up. I pray for it.

Well for starers, no one was ever killed in psychological warfare, unlike the war between Iraq and Iran. We didn't send out children armed only with a stick and a cheap plastic key and tell them to clear a mine field.

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST:

Iran is capable of firing 11,000 rockets into enemy bases within the first minute after any possible attack, state-run television quoted a top Revolutionary Guards Corps commander as saying Saturday.

Gen. Mahmoud Chaharbaghi, the missile commander of the Guards, said Iran has identified all enemy positions and was prepared to respond in less than a minute to any possible attack.

"Enemy bases and positions have been identified. ... The Guards ground force will fire 11,000 rockets into identified enemy positions within the first minute of any aggression against the Iranian territory," the television quoted Chaharbaghi as saying.

Chaharbaghi did not specifically identify the bases or the enemy and did not refer to arch foes Israel or the United States by name.

The US has 40,000 troops on various US bases in other Persian Gulf countries and 20,000 in Mideast waters. Another 160,000 US troops are in neighboring Iraq.

Tensions are high between Washington and Teheran over US accusations that Iran is secretly trying to develop nuclear weapons and helping Shi'ite militias in Iraq that target US troops. Iran denies the claims.

Washington has said it is addressing the Iran situation diplomatically, rather than militarily, but US officials also say that all options are open.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has repeatedly demanded that foreign forces leave the region and urged the US to acknowledge it has failed in Iraq.

If you saw our press as a venue for porn stars, you'd understand how, when this "shrimp" bares all; the elite freaks go ga-ga.

As to the headline, and what it means, it means bupkis.

He's not going to ground zero.

He's probably in trouble at "home." So, he lashes out by bringing "home" headlines. You think this makes him more popular in iran?

He's also saying that he can shoot 11,000 rockets in one minute. (I guess he fears Israel. He does not fear the USA. And, he must think Bush is somehow holding the Israelis back.) I shutter at the thought of this stupidity.

While Bush really doesn't want to become Richard Nixon.

Nixon was another unpopular republican, twice elected to the presidency. On even better numbers than Bush's.

Then? Well, the press got Nixon to resign. Sure. One of the levers was contaminated with FBI approval. What can you do? You can't remove "the single bullet" from JFK. And, you can't reconstitute what Nixon did to himself, either.

Does this mean most Americans are hoping we get a better president, next time? Yes!

Will everybody be happy? NO!

Will iran still have the shrimp "in?" Or does his 'dinner-jacket' finally go to the cleaners, where it gets lost?

Bush is still a dangerous man! Still waiting to throw out his card that satisfies the saud's.

Ground Zero, however, isn't a playing field in this ball park.

Olmert is holding his own! On a lopsided, tilted table. With Bush trying to give the saud's their terrorist holding, side-by-side Israel's right to exist.

So far? Bush keeps losing the bet.

Just remember this. Olmert heard Bush saying "no." And, on September 6th, went ahead, anyway.

Ya know what? Bush hits the impeachment button, when he tries to force Israel to accept a terrorist state, sans road map.

That's how fast the tables turned on Nixon.

From customers to congressmen, the removal of dozens of photos of U.S. troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan – many of them with relatives who use the Paso Robles Post Office, where the pictures had been on display for years behind the counter – inspired outrage Friday.

The photos were taken down after a customer complained that the display was pro-war. When the issue came to the attention of the regional postal center, they asked that Paso Robles postmaster Mike Milby and his staff take them down because they violate a regulation against displays of non-postal business material at any U.S. post office.

Rudy will not hold hands with the Saudis.

Bush can get himself IMPEACHED!

That's the button he's touching, now; threatening Israel with a terrorist "partner." Sans any road map guidelines."

Check out how fast Nixon's "hold on power" went down the tubes.

Sure. It started with the left. They were disgusted he got elected.

It's not how he got into his fix, though; and had to face resigning.

You think just because Rodino is no longer in congress, there's no pressure?

Nothing would revive the Ma & Pa Kettle Show, like a misstep; where Bush takes James Baker's advice.

By the way, Olmert was told "no" ... secretly. In diplo-talk that was done: Behind the scenes.

Then? September 6th proved Israel takes care of business.

Even with the leaks, you see that Israel provided information TO America's CIA.

CIA, how incompetent can they get?

Even though there are lots of people, here, who cannot fathom why half the country never climbed on Bush's bus ... In politics ... things can change like the weather.

Weather? Normally taken for granted. And, then, there's Katrina.

For Bush? He's been avoiding the Nixon pitfalls. With a lot less talent on board his crew.

You bet. In the game of politics; just like in football. One bad fumble ... and you can go from winning to losing. (Even when the other sides is fielding the Ma & Pa Kettle Show!)

Wanna know something else? Harry Reid and Pelosi are MOTIVATED.

Iran is capable. Period.

We poke fun of those who wish to diplomatically fix all problems however our toothless rhetoric has fixed what?

So where are we? From where I sit it looks as though the wheels of appeasement are spinning out of control.

Iran and Syria and their counterpart puppets are capable of all sorts of diabolical havoc simply because they can.

How can he possibly think most Americans will forget about this when so many of us were glued to our televisions, saw the 2nd plane crash into the building and people jumping off those buildings.
Some of us also witnessed American soldiers 'liberating' the prison camps the Nazis had for Jews. There are still some Jews alive who were in those camps.

Let us remember Teddy Roosevelt's advice in support of the Munroe doctrine:

"Speak softly and carry a big stick"... and be prepared to use the sumbytch is you meet a hard headed fool who wants to make trouble (implied).

Perhaps our current politicians could benefit from this advice, especially when dealing with Iran's Murderer in Chief.

9/11 has led to many significant changes. It was used as a pretext to occupy Afghanistan and Iraq. It was the reason for the killing of hundreds of thousands of people.

Pot / Kettle
What is his excuse for wanting to kill millions?
Is it possibly because we as "kufaar" have no right to live?
Funny how it's an "Insh'allah" culture until it is a death presumably caused by an unbeliever.

We don’t want them to turn this incident, in 20 years’ time, into another false idol like the Holocaust

The Supreme Allied Commander - Eisenhower, after the fall of Germany, toured the death camps with as many journalists and photographers as he could find. He said he didn't want someone to say in twenty years that the Holocaust never happened. He was ALSO president of Columbia University before becoming POTUS.

And that idiot Lee Bolinger has smeared the Supreme Allied Commander and all that he has done and opened the door for morons like this hairy beast.

My disgust knows no bounds.

Seems like standard Nazi method of propaganda. First, create a strawman (professional class) then demonize them with lies and half truths. Ask for evidence to disprove what is already proven to be a lie, by rejecting all known proof, as more lies.

Generally effective only when your audience already is pretty much in your corner. Sounds a lot like much of the reasoning Hitler used in his speeches. Commonly referred to as "The Big Lie".

So—you do not have to be a genius to do the work I do.

He's right about that, no need to be smart, just evil.

They might turn 9/11Islam into something sacred, and whoever does not accept it would be considered an infidel, whereas whoever accepts it would have to accept all the ensuing crimes.

NOW it makes sense.

There was a documentary that CBS showed the first couple of years after 9/11. It was made by (believe it or not) two French brothers who happened to be making a film about rookie firemen or something. They just happened to be out with the fire crews that day and the film captures their actual experiences. They were the ones who made the film of the first plane flying into the Towers. One was at the WTC when the towers fell-the other brother thought he was dead. I wish I remembered what the name of it was-I wanted to get a copy for my sons to watch when they're older so they will understand what happened that day. Anyone watching that can't deny what happened and the evil those 19 wrought.

Which is worse, Ahmadinejad who declares the Holocaust a false idol, and acts accordingly, or the Baker Admin, which acknowledges the Holocaust, but acts as if it's a false idol?

The former, no doubt, but they are on the same contimuum where the rubber meets the road.

The US states it will not allow Iran to carry out a 2nd Holocaust, which is no doubt helpful and admirable, especially when compared to Europe, but creates a situation where the arab world is free to carry one out slowly, on the installment plan.

101 Blazer in RIC  Sat, Oct 20, 2007 2:24:23pm

Awesomedinnerjacket is just echoing the same sentiments of our very own leftists, and troofers here in this country. You could go over to Kos, or D.U. and see this same mantra repeated hundreds of times. He knows his greatest attribute in war with the west is not his own military, but the American left.

As far as an attack goes, Iran doesn't control much of their own country outside of the urbanized areas. Outside of the cities it's very much like a frontier, or the wild west if you will, sort of like northwest Pakistan, and southern Afghanistan. They have their own disruptive Sunni populace in the south.

Lock the border down, take out their rockets, missile frigates, and radars to make them totally blind. They cannot project much in the way of air power, or naval forces, so taking out their rocket forces is the key here, it's the only real force they can project. Their first main objective would be to close the straights of Hormuz, and disrupt petrol shipping in the Persian gulf, and to this effect is where it gets a little scary as they are known to have an arsenal of very effective ASM's such as the very lethal Russian SS-N-22 Sunburns, Chinese Silkworms, and probably more than a few Exocets.

There isn't much in the way of defense from the SS-N-22's so we would very much want to keep our major naval forces away from their small force of missile frigates, and shore batteries until those could be dealt with. It also wouldn't hurt to find a way to cut them off from intellgentsia from the Soviets, and Chinese who would no doubt provide them with spy satellite data, although all the data in the world cant' help you if your crippled, and blind.

The attack would have to consist of a fast massive projection on our behalf of air power, and cruise missiles. Something that would make shock, and awe seem like a backyards fireworks display. Also special forces may need to deploy near the coasts to insure no major counter cross border intrusions of Iranian special forces, and also to have eyes on the ground to spot mobile rocket systems, and armor.

After that we could bust up their infrastructure, take out minor military threats, power generating, water filtration, highway bridges, etc., take out Natanz, use fast attack helicopters to mop up any armor, regular, or special forces, and make them retreat closer in on their urban areas, to deal with their own populace who by this time would be more than a little uncomfortable in the dark, with no water to drink, and no easy way to get around.

After crippling them just move back, and contain, with no emphasis on occupation, or regime change, let the Iranian people muster something up, if they can. The other problem would be Syria, and Hezbollah, who no doubt soon after will attack Israel, but no way around that.

This is a PERFECT definition of the satanic death cult. Simply change out '9/11' and insert 'islam', and you have the definition of all motives within this disgusting satanic death cult.

I know I am not the only real American, however, who has an extremely difficult time trying to decide who is worse...islamists like Ahmadinijad...or the leftard pseudo-intellectuals who willfully ignore the evil of islam...
