im getting pretty fed up with the newsreports that arent true and are designed to turn the hearts and minds of america into hating their own country....No good can come from this for the future.

Also, I was watching Dick Morris on Hannity and Colmes last night he was stating that if Hillary gets elected president then we can expect to be taxed higher than 50%...maybe as high as 55 or 60% on our income to pay for everything she wants to do. I dont know about everyone here but I will not stand for that....I barely take home any money from my paycheck right now (40% just disappears) I wont stand for it....Who is with me?

Same 'ol, same 'ol. Stringer Jamail calls in story it gets published and facts are checked later. I can't believe it was the BBC who printed the refutation, but as always the damage is already done and the retraction will not gain anywhere near the attention the original fable did. Guess it is just another case of being "Redacted".

Last night after I put the kids to bed, I hopped on the RoveHaliburton SR-71 for a quick mission to Iraq. Did the deed and came back in time to get the kids up and go to work.

22 lawhawk  10/30/07 9:52:21 am reply quote 2

If you can't find real bad news - invent it or exaggerate it.

Nice.

The media simply is incapable of reporting that the situation in Iraq is improved. That's why they're running bogus stories, old stories, and ones that show that the declining death toll is taking its toll on cemetery workers.

23 Ghost707  10/30/07 9:53:09 am reply quote 0

They found the heads in Texas!

Nice try Rove! Your army of Bushites won't get another Beachamp!

#118 Ben Hur 10/29/07 12:57:28 pm reply quote report 0

You know, you just have to, you know, follow the bread crumbs, you know, because there's this razor thing, you know, that if you can't, you know, directly blame Bush, you can follow the bread crumbs, and you know, they'll be a connection.

Well, you know, I've followed the crumbs, and you know, it ain't pretty.

First, you know, there's this:

Twenty headless bodies found north of Baghdad

You know, which just sucks. At first, you know, you think "terrorism." But you and I know that, you know, that's just same BS from the man trying to, you know, take away our right to bloody marys.

So then, you know, you read this:

Heads up! Royse City officers find unexpected cargo

And you're like, wait a minute bro! Like, you know, heads go missing in Iraq, and you're like, and they found heads in TEXAS, and HELLO?!? Who was the governor of Texas?

And your like Blackwater needs a place to hide their, you know, like, war trophies, you know, for like war porn masturbation.

So, I'm like here, farting in my chair, thinking, you know, there must be some connection.

So, you know, next time you speak to someone, you know, you can be like:

You know? With the war in Iraq? Where we're killing all the Iraqis? People are getting killed? So like Bush will have oil? These innocent people were like killed by Blackwater? And there heads were flown by unchartered black planes to Texas? Probably to Bush's ranch, because no one would look there? I mean, it so obvious?

26 strandedSF  10/30/07 9:55:04 am reply quote 1

It's the truth that gets redacted by the MSM, as always.

By the way, has anyone seen Ron Silver's post at Pajamas Media? It's the best thing I've read in a long time. Sorry if someone's already posted the link.

Well in the US there are a bunch of People (much more than 20, probably close to 20 million) who behave like they are headless, or at least brainless.

We call them Loonie Liberals. But somehow that doesn't seem to make the news.

So, we shouldn't be so hard, the news isn't that untrue, I am sure that there are at least 20 Iraqis who behave as stupidly as American Liberals and can correctly be described as headless or at least brainless.

28 Ben Hur  10/30/07 9:55:50 am reply quote 0
Meanwhile, Iraqi police denied earlier reports that 20 headless bodies had been found dumped near Baquba.

/BBC.

Pages and pages and pages and pages all over the world.

Not true?

One sentence in the middle of an article that had nothing to do with the report of the headless bodies.

29 rappmandu  10/30/07 9:56:29 am reply quote 0

Once more to be clear on a point.

The ones who live in America, and gobble up the milk and honey and have not voted one time and only care about the next end of year stock option sale, they are the problem, the not votes, just do not care, not their problem they say, never was intrested in that crap, I have my family to think about and all that bs.

Purple Ink that will last at least a year, and any one can refuse to sell, rent, purchase from, assist in any way those who do not have the proper finger inked. First time they miss a second time, the state gets 20% of their net worth, third time 50%, fourth time,
100% and they get to start over.

"We the Real People" who are voteing and working to save our liberty, justice and the America way must demand they join, or they need a good banning from commerce.

58 gitarfan  10/30/07 10:28:30 am reply quote 0

Why are any of you surprised? A side note, The AP had a story devoted to the tribal leaders who were kidnapped but included their rescue in a piece about several other stories. Bad news, big story. Successful rescue, one, ONE small paragraph. What a revolting excuse for journalism.

59 granitebill  10/30/07 10:30:16 am reply quote 0

or:
'Hamas building bunkers near border'

or:
"Two Kassams strike western Negev; no wounded reported"

let's just print made-up stories without checking facts...

Apparently the "headless bodies" were not corpses, but reporters. "We already know the stories we're going to write before we get here, so we leave our heads in NY. Our heads can get a good hair-cut and we don't have to bother fact checking while we're here," said one reporter's sock puppet who asked not to named.
