Zombie: Moronic Convergence in San Francisco

Fri, Nov 2, 2007 at 3:15:32 pm PDT

Last weekend in San Francisco, the moonbats, antisemites, and terror supporters turned out for another extended temper tantrum, and the indefatigable Zombie was there with a camera: San Francisco Anti-War Rally, October 27, 2007.

They were supporting the troops in their own special way again.

Here we see a couple of foreign policy experts displaying their treatise on war and the 9/11 attacks.

Pacifists are posturing, grandstanding fools.

The only thing pacifists ever accomplish is to postpone war long enough to give the bad guys a shot at winning.

Pacifists are evil.

US Military Bases are Terrorist Training Camps

Only if your a terrorist. Can't think of anything that's more terrifying for a jihadi than a squad of American Soldiers or Marines coming at him in the darkness. With the possible exception of the sound of a predator in the night sky.

French Teen Subject to Gay Rape, Then Threatened With Jail Time in Dubai

Excerpts:

Nov 1, 2007.
The case of a French teenager who says he was raped by several Arabians, was of whom was HIV positive, has caused tensions between France and the United Arab Emirates to escalate.

... Alexandre Robert, 15, claims to have been abducted and raped in Dubai by three Emirate men.

... when Robert’s family attempted to press charges, they were pressured to drop the matter, and threatened with the boy being charged himself of a count of homosexual conduct.

... Authorities in Dubai also withheld the HIV status of one of the alleged assailants, only informing the family weeks after the alleged assault.

... Added the young man, "They don’t want the world to know that Dubai still lives in the Middle Ages."

Samples of sperm from all three accused attackers were obtained from the victim’s body, but the law in the united Arab Emirates does not make male rape a crime. It does, criminalize what it calls "forced homosexuality," thus legally defining a victim of rape as a criminal participant.

Well, Venezuela is on its way to oblivion.

Hugo gets to be president for life, the great unwashed is all for the six-hour workday and wave goodbye to freedom of the press.

The package also strips the central bank of its autonomy, gives Chavez control over international reserves, empowers authorities to detain citizens without charge and opens the way to censoring the media in so-called political emergencies.

Cindy Sheehan and Hollywood were unavailable for comment.

86 pjcomix  Fri, Nov 2, 2007 3:59:12pm

These are exactly the type of moonbats that we chronicle (and have FUn with) at the DUmmie FUnnies.

Right now the DUmmie FUnnies is a finalist in the 2007 Weblog Awards for FUnniest Blog. In fact as of right now the DUmmie FUnnies is in the lead in that category but only slightly. The extreme leftwing Sadly No! site is now catching up rapidly. That leftwing blog is also extremely anti-Western religion. If you don't believe me check it out for yourselves. Maybe the DUmmie FUnnies isn't exactly saintly (more like irreverent) but we certainly aren't sacreligeous.

Please consider going to this LINK and voting for the DUmmie FUnnies as the FUnniest Blog on the Web. If the DUFUs lose then the far left sicko Sadly No! wins. Thanx in advance for your support and sorry for this bit of "pimp blogging" but think of the alternative.

p.s. If the DUmmie FUnnies win, then I get to meet Charles at the Weblog Awards ceremony in Las Vegas next week. :-)

I really like the photo of the grandmotherly type with the 45 rpm record 'single' spindle on her cap.

I know, isn't that weird? But I don't imagine she'd be too pleased being described as "grandmotherly" -- I bet she's only in her 50s.

Well... I'm only 353 days away from entering my '50s', and have sibs into their early 60s, so.... just guessing

She's too old for me, at least... never mind the symbol of ultimate evil: "B" side music, on her cap.

This kind of extreme pop-culture exhibition is a relic of the 1960s, and is of the same nature as the happenings, street theater, and other performance art of that accursed decade.

To these clueless imitators and cultural reactionaries, radical politics are simply another way to be shocking, as though anyone of my age and experience would be shocked at these moth-eaten antics.
Their whole subculture is deservedly doomed. The only question is how much damage they and their less visible cohorts will cause before being consigned to the dust-bin of history.

Thanks! I tried to make every image worthwhile. I treated each jpeg as if one day it would be displayed in a museum. If I do say so myself, there are some real classics in there -- some that even I find it hard to believe came out of my little camera (like this one).

Yes, we have a lot more Filipinos and even North Koreans in these parades than Mexicans or Hispanics. One of those regional quirks, I guess.

It's difficult to determine that since traffic comes from a variety of places. Overall, traffic has increased the past couple of months, mainly via several links from Charles, Instapundit and from Hot Air, among others.

The actual referrals from Rush's site were limited, but a lot of hits come from Google searches on my name. IIRC, both Charles and Glenn Reynolds linked the same day as Rush, and I was over 10,000 visits, which is huge for me.

Q. I have a business (or website) that I want to promote on LGF because I think LGFers will be interested. Is it OK to post about it?
A. In order of decreasing acceptability:

* It’s OK to put the link to it in your nickname (in the “home page (optional)” field), and it’s OK to include a link in your comment if it’s relevant (for example, if your weblog has a post about an item on LGF and you want us to see it).
* It's OK to include your URL as an off-topic item in your comment once in a while, as long as you're not obnoxious about it. But remember that most people will think it’s obnoxious long before you do.
* It's borderline OK to include the URL at the end of each comment you make as a sort of signature, although many people consider this poor form.
* It's totally unacceptable to post about your commercial interests and nothing else. If you only want to advertise, then invest in a BlogAd on LGF.

189 Shiplord Kirel  Fri, Nov 2, 2007 4:42:41pm

What to do.....what to do.

There are still innocent people and, incredibly, even patriots in San Francisco, so we cannot just nuke the place, tempting though that option might be.
Forcing them to secede from the Union has merit, I admit, but we should remember that the beautiful Bay area will still be there for millennia after these abominable hippies, parasites, and cultural mutants have gone to their just reward (whatever that might be).

I've got it!

We can declare the whole city a wildlife sanctuary and hippie reservation. People would be allowed out for a limited period, but not back in; so patriots, Republicans, and other civilized hostages would have time to escape. The refugees would be compensated for their property losses by confiscating hippie holdings in other parts of the world, stock in pachouli mills and rattan furniture factories, for instance.
All links with the outside world would be cut as a kind of cultural quarantine.
Once a week, armored trucks would deliver supplies of food, dope, and ammunition to the middle of the Bay Bridge, then back away before the residents are allowed to come forward and take possession. They can distribute the supplies by any system they might be able to work out.

This way, our children and grandchildren can have the use of a beautiful, uninhabited wilderness area and historical park at some point in the not-too-distant future.

these photos are infact PROOF that the left has no idea what they support or stand for - they are a reactionary party that is ONLY anti majority and anti establishment... "we are whatever you're not!"

they are wearing kaffiyeh and supporting che? jews wearing kaffiyeh? accusing bush of imperialism... when did toppling a TRUE "dick"tator and setting up a government of the people liberated EVER equate to imperialism? so i guess WWII was "imperialistic" when we nocked out the nazis....

Well, I don't know. It was still ok in the 70's and 80's - which I kinda consider post drugs. Even when Feinstein was running the place, it was ok.

Glitch mismatches photos, news on Google

NEW YORK - Engineers at Google Inc. are working to resolve a problem on the company's Google News site that has resulted in some photos and news stories being mismatched.

Searches conducted on Google News on Friday occasionally returned photos from Reuters Group PLC that didn't match the stories they were listed next to, such as a shot of bunches of vegetables that appeared alongside a story about a Japanese merger firm.

Another story listed on Google News' top business stories had a Reuters photo of a guitarist next to a Wall Street Journal story about Sprint Nextel considering changes to a wireless Internet service plan.

This opens up some fascinating possibilities. You could have smelly SF hippies next to pictures of soap, for example.

Your theory has merit. When I left in 95 it was the 2nd or 3rd mass abandonment of the state. I think I saw it coming then (and I was pretty clueless) but certainly others saw it before me.

Now it's horrible there! It's like the Great One says: libs are like locusts. They destroy a state and then when they can't stand the $8000 property taxes they move on to the next state and start voting in the same stupid laws and initiatives that drove up the taxes in the place they just left.

Silly Socialists!

San Francisco lost a lot of oldline conservatives who simply died of old age and/or moved to the suburbs to avoid urban crowding. There is no parking in the city and the homeless population was making the streets increasingly unpleasant. Into the vacuum swept punks and artists ('70s and '80s), dot-commers ('90s) and communists/anarchists ('60s -- '00s). Also the gay population increased hugely since the '70s. I have no problem with gay people. But I think that might be a factor in "conservative-flight."

Is this just "fun 'n' games" for the young people who go to these protests, something to do because it's cool, or because people they admire regularly vomit these views in their music, movies, talks shows, etc.? Do they have any clue about the fire they are playing with, or have they been so thoroughly indoctrinated that they believe this stuff? Mommy and Daddy regale them with endless stories about the fun, the joy, and the way they "changed" the world with their protests back in the '60's? Or perhaps a combination of all these things?

I can kinda sorta understand older boomers holding these beliefs because of nostalgia for the turn on, tune in, drop out good ol' days of the '60's, the dementia and paranoia brought on by the ravages of good drugs(!), and the harshing of their mellow by GW. But I can't imagine how young people raised in this country, people with a modicum of education and access to the Internet, can honestly hold the beliefs and ideology founded in the bong smoke of Berkeley and the dank basements of the Kremlin.

Reading LGF over these past years has shown me that even at the age of 46 I am incredibly naive about the depths some people in this country have reached. I thank each and everyone of my fellow lizards for an invaluable education and a much needed eye-opening wake up call.

331 JammieWearingFool  Fri, Nov 2, 2007 5:40:37pm

Do these Kos Kidz ever proofread this crap they write?

This may lack typos, but it's painfully stupid.

For the odious and wretched Bush administration has so thoroughly sealed the carton of democracy and freedom and liberty and justice for all against mischance, that no one can get into it without scattering beans and lawsuits and legislative crap all over the place.

Well, you just gotta be smarter than the package, says my brother the Republican.

But no. I shouldn’t have to be. Not with this package. Not with what is so ebulliently advertised to be inside, the full harvest of two centuries and a half of careful, patient husbandry (though it may have settled somewhat with time).

These are goods I cannot afford to be without. I shouldn’t have to work that hard to get at them, and I can’t be spilling them all over the place in the attempt. Not when I have paid so handsomely for them, with money and blood, with life and fortune and sacred honor.

But I seem to have discovered that these goods, which I have purchased at great price, are made so secure from mischance that I cannot without mischance get benefit of them.

No doubt, Howard Schultz or George W Bush would prefer I come down to the shop and get the product directly from them. Experts could open the various packages expertly and brew expertly the cup of freedom, and I could leave it all in their hands and spare myself all the trouble.

WTF are you talking about?

It get's dumber.

I will aspire to pure, eternal ownership of freedom and liberty, unsullied and undiminished by use, safe in vacuum-sealed, impenetrable integrity. I will become a semi permeable membrane through which democracy may pass without ever touching.

I may come at last, with help, to honor ‘value’ more than what can be valued.

And then, though the goods inside are secure alike from harm or use, I will be contented that at least the glue has held.

I saw Dohrn and her "partner" Bill Ayers speak in LA right after 9/11, promoting his memoir of his time as a terrorist in the 60s...they both lamented that his book probably wouldn't sell well or get made into a movie, given the current "anti-terrorism" climate.

It'll never happen, but it would be most satisfying if all the MLB teams colluded and nobody signed this a-hole A-Rod.

Agent Told Yanks to Pay $350M for A-Rod

NEW YORK (AP) - The Yankees were told by agent Scott Boras that they could not meet with Alex Rodriguez unless they presented an extension offer that guaranteed the star $350 million "as a floor."
Boras' remarks, first reported Friday by ESPN.com, were made Oct. 25 during a conversation between the agent and general manager Brian Cashman, a baseball official said Friday, speaking on condition of anonymity because those details were not made public.

Rodriguez had $81 million remaining over the final three years of his record $252 million, 10-year contract, and the deal contained an additional $10 million escalator. The Yankees were prepared to offer him an extension worth $25 million to $30 million a season for four or five years.

Someone joked today they'll wait until halftime of the Super Bowl to announce where this greedy schmuck is going.

BREAKING O.T.: KEITH OLBERMANN "APOLOGIZES"

Keith Olbermann "apologized" for getting the Guiliani quote wrong. Giuliani had mentioned "Assad," and Olbermann and Ms. Huffington discussed his comment on "Osama." Olbermann placed the blame squarely on the Associated Press in his "apology," even though Olbermann had played the tape of Giiuliani's speech on his show.

Olbermann then used Giuliani three times in his "Worst Person i nthe World" segment, hammering Giuliani on questionable or trivial points.

It was a tasteless "apology," incredibly smarmy and insincere. It was in very poor taste. If I were Giuliani, I wouldn't accept it.

Olbermann must be fired.

Ouch!

The Associated Press recounts Joe Biden's encounter with a group of fourth-graders in New Hampshire, under the headline "Biden's History Lesson to Fourth-Graders." Someone asked Biden, "How did the war in Iraq start?" Here is Biden's answer:

Osama bin Laden set up camps there, and he was getting a lot of help from folks running that country called Afghanistan. And that's where he planned an attack on America to bring the World Trade Towers down and kill all those innocent Americans. We had a right to, and we should've gone, to Afghanistan to try to get bin Laden and those people who've done very bad things to America," he said.

"But the president, I think, he got a little confused," he continued. "I think he thought the folks in another country, way, way far away, far from here, it's also far from Afghanistan, called Iraq. He said, 'The guy in Iraq he helped bin Laden do bad things to us,' and he didn't. He wasn't a good guy, but he didn't help. So we used that kind of as an excuse to attack Iraq."

Actually, President Bush has never said that Saddam's Iraq had anything to do with the September 11 attacks. One would think that Biden must know this, even if the AP reporter doesn't. So one wonders: after four years, have the Democrats started to believe their own propaganda, or is Joe Biden really willing to lie to a group of schoolchildren?

"Peace" on a sign is code for "socialist-communist".

The proof is that you will never never see such sign carriers in front of the Cuban or Russian embassies protesting their incursions into Angola, Hungary, Afghanistan or Chechnya. Neither do African genocides get much action from the "peace"/socialist crowd since they are copacetic with even mass killings by marxist governments.

Like their brother totalitarians, Islamists, the socialists/communists have succeeded in hiding the fact from useful idiots that their "peace" is the "peace of the grave" for any opposition.

OT:
The Long War reports on a sadly detiorating situation in Swat, Frontier Corps surrounded and captured, troops deserting. This is getting very ugly, and everything AQAM is mostly focused in Pakistan right now.

They're focusing on Pakistan and Afghanistan. You have to wonder if they've given up on Iraq, and are focusing on "softer" targets right now. Pakistan has nuclear weapons, so it's a likely place for them to attack. It's not surprising that it has come to this: AQ knows that it cannot defeat us militarily. They figured that they could cause enough mayhem in Iraq to get us to give up, and they were wrong. So why continue to waste resources on a losing battle? Pakistan was the gateway for the "Afghan Arabs" during the Soviet-Afghan war; and it supported the radicals (although any one of the warlords could wear that moniker) throughout not just that war, but the civil war that followed. There are sympathizers in Pakistan's ISI, and Musharraf has ceded the NW Frontier and he has a tenuous grasp on power. You have to wonder why AQ didn't strike at Pakistan a long time ago.

Correct, because we're mostly anonymous. It's Charles who is the "known" here. We truly need to all have a good case of the behooves, as in it behooves us to mind our words. Comment #395 said it well.

You got my vote. A couple more pics of the mohawk and I could be tempted to vote twice!
I've got another picture of her!
If I win, I'll post it.

How's that for sheer pandering!

Zombie's ID is exposed. Zombie is all GUY!

Not necessarily. I post this every now and then.

He probably is saying that he thinks the US is run by evil Zionists, and he'd like them to leave...

/they'd better not go before I get my next check. Christmas is coming, you know.

Get out and do your shopping NOW. Hours for retail are unbelievably absurd during the holiday season.

By the time Christmas rolls around, I just might launch into an anti-Capitalist tirade at some point, castigating everyone from consumers to manufacturers, management to labor. I might even wanna' kick some elven ass.

ROFLMAO! I know how you feel. I used to work retail (I was one of those cosmetic counter girls), and it was ridiculous.

Yesterday, I went to Walmart with the kids to see about getting some leftover halloween candy (I know, I know. Hush.), and they have the CHRISTMAS CANDY out now. One tiny row of orange, three aisles of red and green. Aaauugghh!

Mandy, I've been enjoying your posts for years. You are the exception to the rule! God bless you!

The cute punk couple in the picture at the top of the thread reminds me of these lovebirds that I photographed in LA the same day.

re: #395 LoFlyer

Charles, I have cringed while reading posts advocating turning Iran into glass knowing that your liberal opponents would make claims that LGF is a "hate" site for publishing valid opinions on pre-emptive nuclear strikes against Iran before they develop their nuclear weapons. Everyone on this site should remain on notice that what you publish on LGF will be used against you in the court of public opinion in liberal blogs. This is not meant to be a call for politically correct speech, rather a reminder that many times you can state your opinion in ways that do not end up on the front page of Daily Kos, and still get your point across.

"LoF" -

Thought what you were asking for was my "M.O."
all we'all might have "politically incorrect" thoughts. Expressing them in today's world becomes nothing less than an ART-FORM!

Zombie's ahead of the pioneer lady now. Started this thread somewhat behind.

I've now opened a 4% lead over the nearest competitor.

I'm glad to see I'm demolishing this Star-Ledger clown by a couple hundred votes.

I'm not saying anything beats Democracy. I love Democracy. And I'm resigned to lose to someone with a crazy fan base, lots of extended relatives, or a computer hacker friend. I'm currently trailing badly to "Deputydog" and "Jammie-Wearing Fool" -- did I enter the "Age 6 and Under" category by accident?

What a card.

Dude, you're at a major newspaper and I'm eating your lunch.
