LGF Technical Update: The Return of the Dreaded Daily Archives

We’re trying a new version of the popup calendar Javascript code for our ‘Daily Archives’ feature (in the left sidebar, right underneath the LGF Headlines), an excellent plug-in for jQuery with the highly sexy name jQuery UI Datepicker.
Last time this code was seen at LGF, many of you Internet Explorer users complained. And the noise was a great roar, devouring all that liveth and breathe. There are a lot of you IE people, even IE6 users still, if you can believe that.
Anyway, I’ve been testing the new calendar code and so far I have not seen the dreaded ‘Operation Aborted’ error message from either IE6 or IE7. Here’s hoping…
