 RetweetCAIR Meets Radical Palestinian Cleric

Sun, Nov 11, 2007 at 9:47:26 am PST

Unindicted co-conspirators CAIR are boasting about a meeting in their Washington DC headquarters with Palestinian Islamist cleric Tayseer al-Tamimi—who is well-known for raving about Jerusalem being an “Islamic city,” claiming that Zionist plots are afoot to destroy the Al Aqsa Mosque, and attacking Pope Benedict for his statements on Islam.

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 11/9/07) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was honored to host a delegation of Palestinian religious leaders last night at its Capitol Hill headquarters.

At CAIR’s reception, Muslim community leaders met with Palestinian Chief Justice His Eminence Dr. Tayseer Al-Tamimi and Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Jamal M. Bawatna, who are both visiting the Washington, D.C., area as guests of the United States Government.

Here’s video from 2004 of Tayseer al-Tamimi, raving about the wonderful smiling corpse of Yasser Arafat, “a leader, a martyr, and mujahid in heaven.” (Courtesy of MEMRI TV.)

(Hat tip: Bubbaman.)

UPDATE at 11/11/07 10:02:31 am:

More of Al-Tamimi’s statements from Debbie Schlussel:

There’s Al-Tamimi, the Palestinian Authority’s Chief of Judges and chairman of its Islamic law high council.

He uttered these words:  “Islam is escalating and cannot be resisted. I pray that Allah may tear apart America just as the Soviet Union was torn apart.”

As the chief Palestinian judge and Muslim cleric, Al-Tamimi frequently appears on Palestinian Authority Television praising homicide bombers and spreading anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and fatwas.

In 1994, Al-Tamimi said, “The Jews are destined to be persecuted, humiliated, and tortured forever, and it is a Muslim duty to see to it that they reap their due.  No petty arguments must be allowed to divide us.  Where Hitler failed, we must succeed.”

In August 2003, Al-Tamimi, a personal friend of Yasser Arafat (who appointed him Chief Islamic Judge), was arrested for inciting terrorism.  Al-Tamimi’s extremist sermons are well-known for urging attacks on Israel and calling upon Arab nations to wage war.  In March 2000, Al-Tamimi delivered a hate speech during the Pope’s visit to Jerusalem, accusing Israel of “genocide” and “strangling Jerusalem.”  He called on Christians to join Muslims in a jihad to oust Jews from all of Israel.

We have Tamimis here in Northern Jihadi Virginia, where last week Democrats swept Republicans out of local offices. Democrat Governor Tim Kaine who appointed the jihadist surgeon to some position, said he finally has friends in the State House--yes, pro-jihadist friends and fellow travelers.

Most of CAIR probably lives in Arlington, Virginia--also home of the Pentagon which was attacked on 9/11.

This is a travesty! What is CAIR doing on Capitol Hill, when no evangelicals or other religions can set up shop in Mecca!

They're both equally bad. I don't know about John Kerry's ties to the House of Saud, but George Bush's family ties to the Sauds is bad enough.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was honored to host a delegation of Palestinian religious leaders last night at its Capitol Hill headquarters.

Are they honored to be hosting their thug brothers-in-arms, or are they honored these thugs are official guests of the US government and that distinction lends cair an air of acceptability? Perhaps it's both- what opportunists.

'US told Syria that Golan return will be on summit's agenda'

According to OC Military Intelligence Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin, the US has promised Syria that the issue of the country's sovereignty over the Golan Heights will be discussed at the international Middle East peace conference scheduled to be held in Annapolis later this year, Army Radio reported.

Yadlin told the cabinet on Sunday that the move was part of a US effort to persuade Damascus to participate in the meeting.

Tooth-free Egyptian guy on the Jazeera clip a few threads back had some kind of velour fez going on, and now this guy's got an inverted lampshade or something on his knob (much like the one Amin al-Husseini liked to wear, I believe).

Also, the huge peace scarf draped Arafish-style behind the dude. A-yep, that-there's one classy hombre.

Not surprisingly, few in this most pro-jihadist agency in the US Government want to go serve in Iraq, where we are fighting jihadists.

"Foreign" service folks don't want to serve where our troops are serving--they'd rather hang out in Georgetown like Valery Pflame & her hubby Amb. Joseph Wilson IV, partying with CAIR and jihadi sympathizing leftists like it's 1999 or 1968. The most disturbing thing is that this terrorist spiritual leader is a "guest" of the U.S. government. If al-Tamimi were an Afghan (e.g., Mullah Omar), he wouldn't be here on a visa: our forces would be hunting him down and killing him (if Mahmoud Abbas were an Afghan, he'd be in a cage at Guantanamo). So much for GWB's stated policy of making "no distinction" between terrorists and their supporters. Al-Tamimi's presence here gives political cover to CAIR and other Saudi-funded terror apologists/conspirators. GWB and Condi have seriously lost their way and are engaging in some of the same "legacy-seeking" behavior as the Clinton administration circa 2000 (i.e., pointless discussions with thugs and terrorists at Annapolis); it's just like having Madeleine Albright back at Foggy Bottom. Condi's tenure as Sec'y of State can't end soon enough for me. With any luck, Rudy or Romney will appoint John Bolton as Secretary of State in 2009.

Ain't he just a sweetiepie?

Hey, notice this one from Shakeel:
In a moment that might have come straight out of the Borat film, he answered in a soft, serious voice: "I have been told that if I can convince a non-Muslim woman to marry me – but not convert her by force – then there will be a place for me in heaven."

Are Muslims being "brainwashed" in believing that converting men and women to Islam guaranteed a place in heaven?

I always believe that converting to a religion is a personal, spiritual choice for one person.

Moonbats and their money are soon parted...
What of the Jena 6 funds?

Parents of the "Jena 6" teens have refused to publicly account for how they are spending a large portion of the cash, estimated at up to $250,000, that resides in a bank account they control.

Michael Baisden, a nationally syndicated black radio host who is leading a major fundraising drive on behalf of the Jena 6, has declined to reveal how much he has collected. Attorneys for the first defendant to go to trial, Mychal Bell, say they have yet to receive any money from him.

Meanwhile, photos and videos are circulating across the Internet that raise questions about how the donated money is being spent. One photo shows Robert Bailey, one of the Jena 6 defendants, smiling and posing with $100 bills stuffed in his mouth. Another shows defendants Carwin Jones and Bryant Purvis modeling like rap stars at the Black Entertainment Television Hip-Hop music awards last month in Atlanta.

It's the State Department's work again: Arab/Israeli peace central to Washington interfaith initiatives.

So Condi (daughter and granddaughter of Presbyterian ministers) and Bush (Methodist who attends Episcopalian church at times) have gathered various replacement theology adherents to add faux-ecumenical credibility to the Annapolis Screw Israel Conference. But the quoted "Rev." Grieves is so wrong when he says, "I think all Jews, Christian, and Muslims of goodwill are joined in prayer for the success of this conference." Lie.

My favorite Christian Zionist organization, Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry would disagree. Please support the short and simple H. Res758, full text here, which makes it clear Mahmoud Abbas is an unacceptable negotiating partner by revealing his call for destruction of Israel and terrorism by his failure to abrogate parts of the Fatah Constitution that say as much.

If Israel goes to Annapolis- where the only thing on the agenda is Israel's surrender- the insanity level is nearing absolute levels. As is the Bush/Rice anti Israel level.

Palestinians: We will not recognize Israel as a Jewish state at Annapolis

The Palestinian negotiating team has rejected the option of referring to Israel as a Jewish state in the Annapolis Declaration. Jerusalem is worried that the Palestinians will renege on their commitment to fight terror after the conference.

Your opinion equating John Kerry with Presiden Bush is vile; this President is a Veteran who trained as a fighter pilot in his youth, and as a grown man has sent at great cost in blood & treasure US men & women to defend our country and take down the Taliban who took over Afghanistan to use as a base for jihad during the Clinton/Gore era.

However, nothing indicates that he has changed his views in the least. His public statements should be grounds for his deportation regardless of his visa status. His statements are heinous and worthless and show his repulsive and loathsome character, so of course CAIR welcomes him.

In 1994, Al-Tamimi said, “The Jews are destined to be persecuted, humiliated, and tortured forever, and it is a Muslim duty to see to it that they reap their due. No petty arguments must be allowed to divide us. Where Hitler failed, we must succeed.”

"Where Hitler failed, we must succeed." This is a reference to Iran's plans for nuclear genocide against Israel, which contains about half of the world's Jewish population. Hitler wiped out 1/3 of the world's Jewish population. But Iran is looking to wipe out, via nuclear genocide, half of the remainder, by nuclear attack against Israel.

No petty arguments must be allowed to divide us.

This is a reference to the importance placed by Al-Tamimi on Iran's nuclear jihad and nuclear genocide, and it indicates that he is firmly in Iran's camp. It indicates that he doesn't want any divisions in the Muslim world over this issue, and that it is the most important political mission in the Muslim world as far as he is concerned.

By cozying up to this advocate of Iranian nuclear genocide, the unindicted co-conspirators that call themselves "CAIR" show that they are firmly in support of Iranian nuclear genocide also.

"Where Hitler failed, we must succeed". That is what CAIR stands for too.

[Link: www.ynetnews.com...]

The reason for this is that the Pali position remains that they insist on a "right of return" for millions of Arabs who were not born in Israel and who never set foot in Israel. These are descendants of descendants of descendants of refugees. If Israel concedes this, then there can never be any solution of this war that allows Israel to exist as a Jewish state. With millions of hostile Arabs flowing into Israel, there will be terrorism on a vast scale carried out by the hostile Arabs, that will make the terrorism of Intifada II seem like a picnic by comparison. There will be civil war. In the end, the superior birth rate of the Muslim population will assure that Israel becomes an Arab Muslim state.

The refusal of the Palis at Annapolis to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, with a right to exist as a Jewish state, is tantamount to a re-affirmation of the declarations of war that exist in their manifestos. It certainly shows the irredentist nature of the "good" terrorists of Fatah and the PLO. It shows that they are interested only in perpetual war against the Jewish state, until it ceases to be a Jewish state.

Well and succinctly stated, Opinionated. Bush is an elected public servant, not the Right Hand of God, as he and some of his followers seem to think.

I voted for him and, given a choice between Kerry and Bush, I'd vote for Bush every time. That doesn't change the fact that Bush is a grovelling nitwit who prostrates himself before Putin, Mexico, China, and especially the Saudis at every opportunity - at the considerable expense of the American people. Rice, Paulson and the rest are blandly ineffectual and worse than useless while our "Commander in Chief" has a near total lack of leadership ability.

One reason I'd like Giuliani to be the next president is because he doesn't hint that he has some moral authority straight from God. I don't want another president who thinks getting in bed with the Saudis is some kind of joining of hands with "people of the book." F--k that.
