LGF Technical Update: The Return of the Son of the Dreaded Daily Archives

The “daily archives” button is back in our left sidebar again. But this time the code checks which browser you’re using, and if it’s Internet Explorer you won’t see the button. The reason: the popup calendar module I’m using, even its latest version, still seems to sporadically trigger an Internet Explorer bug that causes the page to stop loading with an “Operation Aborted” error message.
Users of other browsers like Safari, Mozilla, or Firefox will be able to enjoy the wonders of the “daily archives” button. Maybe Microsoft will fix the bug in the next version of Internet Explorer, and IE users won’t be left out in the cold any more.
