Watch out for this attempt to get you to download bad software (“malware”) to your computer; it hijacks banner ads from mostly reputable companies and redirects your browser to a new page: Hackers Use Banner Ads on Major Sites to Hijack Your PC.
I’ve seen this at the web site of Israeli news organization Ha’aretz—and in fact, I’ve refrained from linking to them very much because the problem persists.
