Several readers have emailed about this article in Britain’s Daily Mail: Mohammed now second most popular boys’ name in Britain.

But as disturbing as this might seem, the article is a rerun from 7 months ago; we had this story last June, when it appeared in the Times of London.

So at least there’s a bright side to this story: seven months later, “Mohammed” hasn’t reached “most popular name” status yet.
