It’s one of those days when potshots are being taken at me from both the extreme right and the extreme left. At Digg.com, a post with a completely ludicrous and false title has nearly 2000 diggs: Digg - Guantanamo detainees are not human beings - US judges.
And the first comment, with 353 diggs, makes an outrageously dishonest claim about Little Green Footballs.
The Nazis used the term “subhumans” to describe Jews in an effort to justify the horrific genocide which was acted out against the later. Interestingly enough, rightwing blogs such as Little Green Footballs reveal that many right wing conservatives, Jews and others, have started to use the term to describe Arabs. Now you have a US judge treating a human as something less. A slippery slope indeed.
I’d challenge these morons to prove this statement and find a single post by me that labels Arabs “subhuman” (they can’t, because it doesn’t exist) but what’s the point? Truth and honesty count for nothing in that crowd.
