Good riddance Dr. Paul.
The country, like the republican party, just isn't stupid or myopic enough for you to hypnotize yet. Maybe you should freeze yourself with cryogenics so you can come back in 20 years and "save" us from your imaginary specters and malevolent, hidden, international world government/mega-corporate/oligarchical subversion forces.
" Lead us not into globalization, and deliver us from Belgium...for thine is the legalized ganja, the mysteriously fixed yet totally laissez faire economy, and the gold backed, debt free dollar, forever and ever...Oh man."
Etc.

Yeah, 'cause, y'know, a guy who actually considers the Constitution before voting on an issue is, like, SOOOOOO not good for America.
It's just a stupid piece of paper anyway, right?
And, y'know, a guy--the only one, in fact--who yearly proposes bills to eliminate the IRS and to deem human life to begin at conception--DOYC forbid.
We need all those government programs, and we must fund them MORE. After all, if Farmer Jones were to leave, who would feed us?
...To think I ever thought you people were conservatives. You don't even think the Constitution is worth conserving. You are, for the most part, just slightly less socialist than the Democrats.
But remember this: The GOP rejected Reagan in favor of Ford for the same reasons. Then they got Carter instead. And who was the one man in Congress who supported Reagan? Oh, no, it couldn't be...the crazy uncle!
Heh. At least we don't have to endure the Lisping Drag Queen of New York. I'll bet it hurt to find out that he got fewer contributions than Ron Paul.

Fred Thompson has endorsed McCain.
I can only hope and pray that McCain picks him (and Fred agrees) for his running mate. Then, give him the same real job/influence that Bush has given Cheney.
What rightymouse said! McCain/Thompson - the debates alone would be worth living for!

You know this is very sad, when they (who ever ‘they’ are) have set it up so Hillary Clinton will have a chance to be President. They have tried to convince the American people that they know what we want. I’m sorry but this is really stupid. I guess what they are thinking is that we will not be going out to vote. Well, I tell you that we will. We will put in as many Republican (Conservatives) as we can to stop who ever gets put in as president. Some of us believe that we were here in the beginning of this great nation and we are not going to let anyone destroy ‘THIS NATION’.
It does not matter who you put in as president we will save this great nation for the future of man.
We can see from what you are doing that if you think you can destroy this nation you can destroy this world. SAD

If Ron Paul's supporters hadn't harassed people on every website/blog beginning with [Link: www...] ending with .com, people would have took him more seriously. They are ruthless, and as a result - his candidacy was over from the start.
Somebody on the politico understands why so many people were unimpressed with Ron Paul.

Aww, and here I was looking forward to the Ron Paul Racing car making its NASCAR debut during the Daytona 500.
Not that I was exactly rooting for Ron Paul to win the nomination, but if this car was in enough races, they'd probably have to make a Hot Wheel out of it, and that would be an amusing addition to my Hot Wheels collection.

Ron Paul might not have made a great president right now, and many are not comfortable with his foreign policy positions....
But, MAN he would be a kick ass Speaker of the House. Probably the best one since Newt. All of Ron Paul's "DOMESTIC" ideas are right on the money. Republicans USED to believe all the things he does when it comes to domestic issues.
We need to get a majority back in the house (prob will happen in 2010 when the public has a panic attack after 2 miserable years of Clintobama communism) and get him elected as speaker of the house to drive the domestic agenda, and leave the foreign policy to someone else in the white house.
RON PAUL! SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE 2010!

I have said this before, I was listening to Glenn Beck on day and a Ron Paul supporter got through and Glenn asked the guy if Ron doesn't make it, who would he vote for. The guy responded "Obama" (because the two are so close in values.)
This made me realize that Ron Paul was a huge joke, or a bunch of crazy commies that had no clue. Ron Paul supporters did more to turn people away than anything else.

This is what I suspected all along - that Paul's campaign was just a scam to raise money for re-election in his congressional district where he is facing a tough fight. So his supporters, on top of being losers and crackpots, are also the biggest collection of suckers in the world.
But since they *are* losers and crackpots, they will never own up to the fact they were taken. They willl just invent some new loony conspiracy theory to explain it away.

Heh. You think I'm nuts. Look at yourselves. You think it's not only funny, but LAUDABLE to vandalize someone's house just because he disagrees with you.
YOUR only arguments against someone are pretty much the same arguments that you'd hear from the Daily Kos: stupid, crazy, ugly, whatever. Ad hominem is the rule of the day here, because it doesn't take any thought. Dismiss someone with a flip of the hand and a casual, "If you were worth noticing, you'd be just like me"--how adolescent.
I see you for what you are. Cowards. You live in fear of the "scary evil terrrrrrrrists" who will come here and blow you up PERSONALLY if the FBI doesn't get the power to monitor Johnny's public-library searches. You're so motivated by fear that you'll give up all your rights and some of your neighbors'.
Fools. You say that the "scary evil terrrrrrrrists" will destroy America--but you don't realize that your masters doing just that. If we don't stand by the Constitution, there will be nothing left of America to destroy.
Who will protect the Constitution? John McCain, who had your freedom of political speech limited? Mike Huckabee, who wants to increase federal spending on art classes and institute a 30% sales tax?
Time to stop just believing what you're told, and start thinking for yourselves.
Oh, and if you were interested in knowing about any SANE RP supporters, you could find quite a few at voxday.blogspot.com. Just for your reference. A Google search for "sane Ron Paul supporters" won't return you the results you've been hunting.

By the way, who's the one man in Congress who has time to respond personally to e-mails? (And meanwhile, he's busy writing new legislation designed to curb federal spending and power, AND maintaining a weekly report on what goes on?)
Guess who? Ron Paul. Do you know why he has time? Because he's not busy whoring around with PACs and "special interests." They don't bother; they tried him at first, and found out he's not buyable.
He also returns unused portions of his office budget to the Treasury--the only one who does.
Does that sound like an embezzler to you? Or has it become common practice around here to slander people who don't promise you what they're not qualified to give?
I'd be more worried about what Huckabee's doing with your money. He has a known history of spending political contributions on his wife...
