Our post about the Obama-Che Guevara flap was linked yesterday at wacko site rense.com, and as a result we received the following two emails from people who followed that link and became incensed at our description of Che Guevara as a “terrorist mass murderer.”

The first is from a gentlething in Miami, Florida, who opines:

what’s so wrong with Che? he was a doctor. He spent his life helping people and fighting for the rights of the disadvantaged. I’d take him any day over Nixon, LBJ, Hitlery, McInsane,Shrub or Little Dick Cheney.

Looks like that guy’s been miserable and oppressed and rising up against The Man for a long time. Nixon?

The second comes from a denizen of Baltimore, who goes into a bit more detail:

Who was Che Guevara and what was he fighting against? After all-both MLK and Mandela courted the socialists after getting the back of the hand from western capitalists-no? Sounds like another vicious attack by the oppressors of humanity of one of the righteous. Che wanted to help the poor-a sin in the eyes of the capitalist pig. Jesus Christ would be an enemy of today’s establishment. I’m not offended by Obama having such a flag about. That confederate flag is more offensive by far.
