Leaping Leopards, Part 2
Reporting back after two days running the latest Mac OS 10.5.2 (Leopard): very pleased so far. Wireless connections to the Airport base station seem more sturdy, the Time Machine feature is wondrous (takes a while to create the first backup, though), and the new Mail and Safari features are also great—especially Safari’s new Web Inspector feature, and the Javascript debugger that’s supported by the latest nightly builds.
The only program I had compatibility problems with was a USB driver for an infrared cable box controller; the latest version fixed that. Some people have reported trouble with the Adobe CS3 stuff, but so far it seems to work fine for me.
All in all, a very good experience, for a major OS upgrade.
