If I had a formula for bypassing trouble, I would not pass it round. Trouble creates a capacity to handle it. I don’t embrace trouble; that’s as bad as treating it as an enemy. But I do say meet it as a friend, for you’ll see a lot of it and had better be on speaking terms with it.

Give that man a cigar!......

ANDERSON, S.C. - Authorities say a man drove a stolen car to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office to demand the return of nearly $2,000 officers seized from him during a drug arrest last June.

Deputies said after they told Charles Chambers, 36, to leave Tuesday afternoon, an officer noticed he got into a car that matched the description of a vehicle stolen about three hours earlier.

Another officer pulled the man over and told him to stop the car. The officer said Chambers stuck a screwdriver in the ignition to shut it off because the vehicle's key switch had been removed

"This is not a campaign for president of the United States, this is a movement to change the world," he said as he introduced Obama last week in Baltimore.

"You do not get 13,000 people in this auditorium with a campaign."

As over the top as it may have sounded, Cummings' sentiments weren't all that unusual.

Because when it comes to Obama, hyperbole seems to be the rule, not the exception.

His charms seem tough to resist, even for some of Hollywood’s biggest names.

"He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere," George Clooney told talk show host Charlie Rose.

"I'll do whatever he says to do," actress Halle Berry said to the Philadelphia Daily News. "I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear."

Welcome to the cult of Barack Obama

THE wife of the terrorist who sponged £20,352 a year off the taxpayer while plotting to behead a squaddie will STILL collect benefits.

Evil Parvis Khan’s wife Mahnaz has vowed to stand by him even though he may never be freed after being jailed for a minimum 14 years on Monday.

Fanatic Khan, 37, raked in dole and other benefits totalling £1,696 a month even though he had a full-time job – with al-Qaeda.

His wife will still be entitled to nearly all of the payouts.

The report said those arrested had ties to radical Islam. It did not specify what type of plots the alleged terror group had been planning.

Police said they had probed "the ramifications and connections of the network with others active in Morocco and abroad."

LOVE at first sight landed an Indian man in the dock, after he tried to force his attentions on a terrified housemaid.

He jumped over a garden wall and tried to molest the Indian maid in her quarters, after spotting her as he worked on a house next door, a Public Prosecution spokesman said yesterday.

The maid ran into the house, grabbed a knife and slashed her attacker's hand as he tried to stop her locking herself in an upstairs room.

The suspect, who works for a cleaning company, spotted the maid as he worked on a house in Hamad Town, said the spokesman.

He said the man pounced when he spotted the maid's sponsor and his family leaving the house.

"Apparently it was love at first sight," said the spokesman.

"He made his way into the house by jumping over the garden wall and right into the maid's room."

He tried to molest her, but she immediately made a run for it.

"She ran into the house and was able to grab a knife before trying to lock herself in a room upstairs," said the spokesman.

The attacker grabbed the door, but the maid slashed his hand with the knife.

"She caused a deep cut to his hand, which forced him to let go of the door," said the spokesman.

This was predictable. Remember when Romney was giving McCain a contest? So many Democrats rallied to McCain including the NY Times with an endorsement. Remember things like "McCain is a man of honor"
"He is a maverick" "We fear running against him"He is bipartisan" Blah blah blah.
Well now the NY Times(0n Fox) is running an unattributed smear piece that implies that he had an "inappropriate" relationship with a young woman who was lobbying for telecommunications eight years ago. No evidence of influence pedaling, no attribution, no nothing.
I am not big on McCain buy come on.Expect more of the same.I believe the Dem's actually feared Romney and will now try to destroy their favorite Republican. Despicable

Acting on sketchy information, the president orders an attack, but it turns out to be the wrong terrorists, in the wrong country. Things go downhill from there. Realizing the choices facing the US, MOST Muslim countries would be LEGITIMATE TARGETS unless and until they could PROVE their innocence to America's satisfaction, so even if a nation claimed "wrongly attacked!" status, the other Muslim nations would see the horror of modern warfare, and learn a valuable lesson, and things would get better from there.

The fact that Al-Hakami was 13 years old when the incident took place means that he was under age; under Saudi law, police cannot detain and punish anyone under the age of 15 in the absence of his or her legal guardians. Under Saudi law, a boy comes of age at 15, which means that passing a death sentence against him was illegal. Adding to the tragedy of these events, there seems to be no response from our so-called human rights organizations. The father says that he has complained to them but has received no answer. One wonders how much it takes for the organization to respond.

Although the chief of police has tried to cover all the points raised by the father, he has not managed to come up with an excuse or a plausible story for executing the boy without the knowledge of his family.

I remember the good old days, when I came home after school and watched re-runs of "Lost in Space," "The Partridge Family," and "The Monkees." (Okay, so the latter two were cheesy. But "Lost in Space" is timeless.) I also watched the risque-for-the-time "ABC After School Special." With topics like steroids, pre-marital sex, and the promotion of Communism (that Communists are nice, persecuted people in America was, indeed, a topic of one), it wasn't exactly good fare for America's kids. But I only saw that stuff when I wasn't at tennis practice, tap and jazz classes, ice skating, and track and cross country running.

But that was then. This is now. And "now" makes that stuff look like Shakespeare. "Now" is Oprah doing her embarrassing imitation of having multiple orgasms. Yup, that's what she did on her show, yesterday. And yes, kids watch that show after school. Oh, and Oprah, Meg Ryan called, she wants her scene from "When Harry Met Sally" back.

I'm just wondering: Isn't this the same person who is going around the country for B(Hussein)O's Presidential campaign?

Baghdad, 21 Feb.(AKI) - Iraqi Shia cleric Moqtada al-Sadr will announce on Saturday whether to extend a six-month truce or whether his Mahdi army will renew attacks on US troops and reignite sectarian violence.

"If next Saturday our Imam does not issue a statement to announce the extension of the truce, it will mean that we will renew our armed activities," al-Sadr's spokesman, Sheikh Salah al-Obeidi told the Arab TV network, al-Arabiya.

The Mahdi army was founded in 2003 as a militia and has become one of Iraq's most powerful paramilitary forces.

When al-Sadr imposed the truce in August, the army controlled large areas of Baghdad and dominated Shia cities like Basra. Some estimates suggest it has 60,000 members.

Rome, 21 Feb. (AKI) - The Sufi Muslim order of Burhaniya has organised a series of meetings in the Italian capital of Rome entitled, The East in the West.

The meetings will be held twice a month until April and are expected to explore the central theme of "The great figures of Sufi Islam, friends of God, saints for love".

Sufism is Islamic mysticism. Sufis believe in a mystical path to God through prayer, dance and music.

The next meeting to take place in Rome on Saturday will be held in the "zawiya", a meeting and prayer area, for the Sufi brotherhood in the Italian capital.

The headline begins us on our journey of media manipulation and nonsense. With the proclamation that "French Fries To Blame For SEPTA Station Gang Beating", we are supposed to be informed that "French fries" are at fault for a beating. I guess it wasn't the gang-banger punks that were responsible, huh? It was the "French fries"? Already the news piece shies blame away from the humans responsible to an inanimate object; the French fries (a favorite poly in the "gun violence" meme, by the way).
