This is what affirmative action does to people. Michelle seems quite intelligent, and maybe she got into Princeton and Harvard Law on her own merits. Because of AA, she (and we) can never be entirely sure. I think she's got a lot of nagging self-doubt about whether she's really good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, whether people like her. She's not a child, she's not stupid, and she's also not new to being the wife of a politician. Its kind of odd that she hasn't learned already, but I would expect a major smackdown by her handlers promptly.

Assuming Obama survives the primary process (which appears likely), I suspect Michelle will be shunted away to a corner somewhere to wave and smile for the remainder of the campaign.

No way in hell this woman is going to told to shut up. Trust me on this. I can't wait to see her really riled up, it going to be great!
