I like to think of the other guy as Big Mo.

We got our own Geerts aplenty over here in many different forms. Our big movie industry is in the pocket of every tin-horn thug from Tehran to Caracas, but our movies will eventually get made.

Although I'm not sure we'll be so happy to hop over the Atlantic to save Europe again for a third time.

kuffarharbi, we're not getting smug. We're simply watching the destruction and disintegration of what is left of Europe. Girt's film is a fine effort, but the people seemed to have lost their will "across the pond"

The dhimmitude in America is contested. The biggest political structures in Europe welcome dhimmitude.

What really irks me about this crap is that Europe is even more clueless than they were with the Nazi threat! Geez! They're like the frog in the pot over the gas burner, they don't realize or care that the warmth they are beginning to feel is the hate from the members of Islam.

And when things get so bad they can't stand it, they will surely ask the United States Armed Forces to bail them out yet again. We surely will as we cannot allow the d_mned Islamisists to take over countries that will soon be supplying a large percentage of the military armaments that we buy. (Exactly the reason that we should not allow foreign companies to build our armaments and the newest variant of our refueling tankers.)

I don't mean anything personal by this, but I think you are historically projecting way too much. Throughout the 1930's, Hitler did not try to hide the fact that he was rebuilding Germany's economy through national socialist projects that were focused on rebuilding the nation's military infrastructure. The Chamberlain's of the time were naive enough to believe that Hitler was only doing what was necessary for his people's welfare, even while the tools of their future destruction were being built out in the open.

The threat today is much, much different. The Mohamedans aren't building anything, they are simply infiltrating existing government and social institutions in a type of accelerated "slow leak." There isn't going to be any military build-up, and there isn't going to be the need for any silly ideas like "Lebensraum." The Mohamedan's method of invasion is psychological, political, and economic. They don't need to use any kind of force because our own notions of liberalism, guilt, and tolerance don't require it. The West is simply giving it away and believing that it's concession to fascism is virtuous and the product of "social enlightenment."

I don't think the left will ever admit that they have been defeated. They are so beholden to their belief that their ancestors have perpetrated so much evil that they are not entitled to stand up to anyone from a "non-white" country. Perhaps they will on the day that the first European fatwa is declared demanding that all women wear the hijab in public, but even then I have a feeling that they will see doing so as being "diverse."

God damn them.

We are TRULY in trouble people. The film merely shows passages from the Koran coupled with recent attacks/outrages by extremists. This is worthy of condemnation in Western society? This doesn't bode well for our grandchildren.

This movie,like "Submission" before it,has made it's debut online. The cliche concerning the genie being out of the bottle applies here. No matter how many Euro sites cave and block access,access will be available at another site somewhere on the web.The Islamofacists don't quite understand that they are on the losing side of this from a technology angle. They cannot succeed in permanently and totally removing "Fitna' nor "Submission"...those that want to find it will. And a damn good thing that is.

Submission aired on Dutch TV in August 2004. Don't know if it was on the web before that. Blogosphere awareness grew significantly after 02 Nov 2004.

I think the USA also need be careful of creeping dhimmitude.

For example, fewer American paper publications than European printed the Motoons, and at least one major store chain refused to stock the journal(s) which did.

In the absence of governments with balls, what can be done to stop such creeping dhimmitude globally?

Not really. Many so-called moderates visit those blogs/sites. Many fence sitters. Perhaps, we can turn their interest into revulsion. Plus it would make those Jihadis realize that the WEST isn't going to sit back while they martyr themselves all the way to our malls. Time to put them on notice, that we know what they are UP to.
