Carter Pays Tribute to Terrorist Mass Murderer

Tue, Apr 15, 2008 at 8:31:35 am PDT

Jimmy Carter appears determined to do everything possible to legitimize Palestinian terrorism. In one of his more disgusting displays of pandering, today he laid a wreath on the grave of one of history’s most notorious mass murderers, Yasser Arafat, bearing the words, “President and Mrs. Carter.”

This man is a complete disgrace.

UPDATE at 4/15/08 8:47:35 am:

It gets worse: Jimmy Carter embraces Hamas official.

RAMALLAH, West Bank - Former President Jimmy Carter embraced a leading Hamas figure Tuesday, according to participants in a meeting that infuriated Israeli officials already upset by Carter’s freelance Mideast peace mission.

Carter also laid a wreath at the grave of Yasser Arafat, whom the Bush administration and many Israelis blame for the breakdown of peace talks seven years ago and the violence that followed.

At a reception in the West Bank town of Ramallah organized by Carter’s office, the former president hugged Nasser Shaer, a senior Hamas politician, meeting participants said. Embraces between men are a common custom in Arab culture.

“He gave me a hug. We hugged each other, and it was a warm reception,” Shaer told The Associated Press. “Carter asked what he can do to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israel ... and I told him the possibility for peace is high.”

Did the State Department call Jimmy Carter a liar...in so many words?

*QUESTION:* Can you talk about Carter in Syria? He’s been saying that the State Department, in fact, didn’t counsel him against going.

*MR. CASEY:* Well, we can try this one again. Look, all I know is what you heard from Sean here at the end of last week. He was, in fact, spoken with by David Welch, our Assistant Secretary. And in that conversation, David did, in fact, tell him we didn’t think it would be an appropriate gesture and encouraged him not to, in fact, meet with Hamas officials. Again, I think that’s fairly standard policy and I don’t think that would have come as news to him or to anybody else.

*QUESTION:* Do you know – I don’t think we ever got the answer to the question of why did the subject of meeting a Hamas official ever come up. Did the former President tell Assistant Secretary Welch that he was planning on going to see --

*MR. CASEY:* I got --

*QUESTION:* -- someone in Hamas?

*MR. CASEY:* I got the same answers that Sean got for you on that on Thursday and Friday. I don't have any more detailed readout of the conversation, and I don't think at this point -- you know if the former President wants to talk more about it, that's fine.

*QUESTION:* Well, is this a blanket kind of thing that you tell people who are, you know, high-profile, ex-government or are current public officials?

*MR. CASEY:* Well --

*QUESTION:* If they call you and say, hey, I'm going to the Middle East, I may be going to Syria, what can you tell me --

*MR. CASEY:* I think, Matt, you can --

*QUESTION:* -- and then you say --

*MR. CASEY:* I think, Matt, you can --

*QUESTION:* -- by the way, when you're in Damascus, don't meet with anyone from Hamas, even if they haven't said any -- that they're going to?

*MR. CASEY:* Well, you know, I think, to the extent, Matt, that anyone has a conversation about our policies in the Middle East, and particularly about what we are doing to help encourage peace between the Israelis and Palestinians, you could probably expect that somewhere in there, that Hamas as a subject might come up.

And I think you would be not surprised to learn that in any discussion, I think, with just about anyone about Hamas, that our general counsel is, probably not a particularly good time to engage them. We've said that publicly to various governments as well. We've said it privately in conversations like this. But, you know, saying that the United States continues to have its longstanding policy of not engaging with and not having contact with Hamas, which is a designated terrorist organization, is not exactly, I think, news to a lot of people.

And here's the latest news:

Carter, Mashaal Announce Plan for Mideast Peace

Damascus. (CNN – Caliphate-Nazi News)

Former President Jimmy Carter and Hamas Leader Khaled Mashaal announced the final solution for Mideast peace. Hamas and Syria have agreed to recognize the state of Israel, after Carter's plan is put into motion.

The plan involves the Israeli government being taken over by the UN and the US State Department. “This is the culmination of all the years of my presidency,” the Nobel Peace Prize winner Carter said. “We all agree the problem that is preventing peace in the Mideast is that Israel is run by Jews; therefore, by replacing their government with one that is willing to understand the concerns of their neighbors, there will be peace.”

The Jews will still have rights to a homeland, but they will be concentrated in the Negev. “The Jews were able to make the desert bloom, so they should be quite comfortable in the camps that will be constructed there,” said former President Carter.

Reaction from world leaders was strong approval.

US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice said “I salute former President Carter for his effort, and look forward to my new position as Prime Minister of Israel.” She then left just as the Israeli press arrived, having been forced to enter through the back door.

Barack Obama cheered the result. “I have known for 20 years that a solution like this was needed; finally there will be peace. I have offered former President Carter the position of Secretary of State, when I win the election.” He also said that he would now go under the name B. Hussein Obama.

Hillary Clinton also praised the deal but said “I had almost negotiated this deal, while under rocket fire, but the signed papers disappeared when I went to ask Bill about a stained blue burkha that I found under the desk in the meeting tent.”

John McCain, the Republican nominee for President, said something different, showing he is out of touch with world opinion.

“The UN, the Ummah of Nations, strongly supports this peace treaty.” Secretary General Ban Ki-Moonbat also said, “We have already recognized Mahmoud Abbas as the Israeli ambassador to the UN, and he will be moving in 'as soon as the stench is gone' from the rooms formerly occupied by Jews.”

The president of Iran, Ahmadinejad, said “We welcome this development, but we will not cease in our peaceful nuclear program as long as a single Jew remains alive.”

Hugo Chavez, president of Venezuela, also praised the accord. “Venezuela is pleased the world has come to understand the problems of our world. We have started rounding up Venezuelan Jews to send them to the new camps in Israel.”

The Saudi Arabian government issued a statement that “In honor of these historic accords, we will call for a 'free gas' day once they are implemented. We will even give Jews free gas, but of a very special kind.”

Adolph Hitler could not be reached for comment.

Carter honors the man who ordered the murder of American diplomats in Khartoum:

In the minutes before 7 p.m. on March 1, 1973, a routine diplomatic reception was breaking up at the Saudi embassy in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. But as the ambassadors left the party and disbursed to find their drivers, a volley of machine-gun bullets suddenly interrupted the quiet scene. Eight masked gunmen of Black September, a covert Palestinian organization, burst out from the shadows and commandeered into the embassy's main reception room all those not fleet of foot enough to escape. There the diplomats were sat down on the floor and compelled to identify themselves by nationality. The assailants then proceeded to release most of them, keeping just five: two Americans - Ambassador Cleo Allen Noel, Jr. and Chargé d'Affaires George Curtis Moore - a Belgian, a Jordanian, and a Saudi. The gunmen sent out a leaflet with their demands, which included the freeing from Jordan of many Palestinians, including Abu Daoud, a leader of the Black September Organization; the freeing of Sirhan Sirhan, Robert Kennedy's killer, from jail in California; and the freeing of "Palestinian women in prison in Israel."

Twenty-six hours of feverish negotiations then went by. On the evening of the 2nd, the Beirut headquarters of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) sent an order of execution to the terrorists via radio broadcast: "Why are you waiting? The people's blood in the Cold River cries for vengeance" ("Cold River" was the code word for executing the captives). Recordings of that call have suspiciously disappeared, but it appears that Yasir Arafat, chairman of the PLO then as now, personally delivered this order to murder. Soon after he did, the two Americans and the Belgian were bound, lined up against a basement wall, and executed in gangland fashion - all eight gunmen simultaneously pulling on their triggers.

President Bush expressed strong opposition today to Congressional moves to limit United States contacts with the Palestine Liberation Organization, and the White House sought a compromise on the issue.

At a meeting with lawmakers, largely to discuss his recent trip to Europe, the President raised the issue of legislation that would bar the United States from dealing with P.L.O. representatives responsible for the death of American citizens.

''The President made the point that he was opposed to that, and that at this point in the peace process, fragile as it may be, these kinds of limitations would not be helpful,'' said Marlin Fitzwater, the White House spokesman.

The legislative proposal would bar the United States from negotiating with any P.L.O. representative unless the President certifies to Congress that the Palestinian did not take part in terrorist activity that resulted in ''the death, injury or kidnapping of an American citizen.'' 'That's a Big Step Backward'

The amendment, whose sponsors include Senator Jesse Helms, Republican of North Carolina, was provoked by an American envoy's discussions with Saleh Khalef, Yasir Arafat's principal deputy in the P.L.O. Mr. Khalef, also known as Abu Iyad, was a founder and leader of the Black September terrorist organization, which was responsible for the massacre of Israeli athletes at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972. The Palestinian was also implicated in the 1973 killing of the American Ambassador to the Sudan, Cleo A. Noel Jr. After the White House meeting today, Senator Bob Packwood, Republican of Oregon, said Mr. Bush had told the legislators, ''If you pass this amendment and shut down any negotiations with anybody that's ever breathed on the P.L.O., then that's a big step backward, not a step forward.''

Administration officials said the proposed agreement involved changing language on the amendment. Initially, the amendment barred talks with P.L.O. officials unless the President certified that they were not participants, organizers or accessories in acts of terrorism against Americans. Under the compromise, the reference to accessories would be eliminated. That would have the effect of barring talks with P.L.O. figures like Mr. Khalef, but not limiting talks to P.L.O. leaders whose involvement in violent attacks was murkier.

he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him,

3 The LORD is a warrior;
the LORD is his name.

4 Pharaoh's chariots and his army
he has hurled into the sea.
The best of Pharaoh's officers

5 The deep waters have covered them;
they sank to the depths like a stone.

6 "Your right hand, O LORD,
was majestic in power.
Your right hand, O LORD,
shattered the enemy.

7 In the greatness of your majesty
you threw down those who opposed you.
You unleashed your burning anger;
it consumed them like stubble.

8 By the blast of your nostrils
the waters piled up.
The surging waters stood firm like a wall;
the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.

9 "The enemy boasted,
'I will pursue, I will overtake them.
I will divide the spoils;
I will gorge myself on them.
I will draw my sword
and my hand will destroy them.'

10 But you blew with your breath,
and the sea covered them.
They sank like lead
in the mighty waters.

11 "Who among the gods is like you, O LORD ?
Who is like you—
majestic in holiness,
awesome in glory,
working wonders?

12 You stretched out your right hand
and the earth swallowed them.

13 "In your unfailing love you will lead
the people you have redeemed.
In your strength you will guide them
to your holy dwelling.

14 The nations will hear and tremble;
anguish will grip the people of Philistia.

15 The chiefs of Edom will be terrified,
the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling,
the people of Canaan will melt away;

16 terror and dread will fall upon them.
By the power of your arm
they will be as still as a stone—
until your people pass by, O LORD,
until the people you bought [c] pass by.

17 You will bring them in and plant them
on the mountain of your inheritance—
the place, O LORD, you made for your dwelling,
the sanctuary, O Lord, your hands established.

18 The LORD will reign
for ever and ever."

The worst and singlemost embarrassing President to have held the office in my lifetime raises the bar yet one more time. I do really wish that this useless piece of excrement could be found, by any means possible, to be in violation of the Logan act and arrested for treason immediately upon his stepping foot on US soil when he returns. There are not enough negative adjectives listed in the dictionary to accurately describe this man.

In A STEP FARTHER OUT Jerry Pournelle mentions that during the Carter Administration the Soviets handed over their data on their fusion energy projects to the Department of Energy and Carter turned around and classified all of it as Top Secret.

Like who was he trying to hide from?

Meanwhile in Hell:

Demon (watching TV): Arafat! Come and see! Someone important is laying a wreath on your tomb!

Arafat: It's not Jimmy Carter is it?

Demon: Hah! How did you know?

Arafat: I'll stay in the lava pool thank you.

Once again, Carter doesn't fail to disappoint. He sees the bottom and continues digging furiously - trying to further cement his title to being the worst former President. Ever.

Continuing to support Palestinian terrorism by paying honor to Arafat by laying a wreath and speaking out against Israeli actions, despite the rockets and mortars raining down on Israel incessantly, shows just how debased Carter is.

He cannot be an honest broker and isn't simply engaging in fact finding, which is how he describes his mission in the region. If you wanted facts to find, try sticking around in Ashkelon or Sderot for more than a few hours - you'd see and hear the rocket and mortars slamming into Israel to be followed by the wailing of the alert sirens - letting you realize that Israelis don't have time to run for shelter - the rockets and mortars arrive faster than the alerts can be given.

Those Israelis live under a daily siege from Palestinian terrorists - who, like Arafat, chose not peace when offered the chance, who, like Arafat, chose not to live peacefully side by side in a two state solution, and who like Arafat, chose war and terror to further their goal of the destruction of Israel in a slow death.

At a reception in the West Bank town of Ramallah organized by Carter’s office, the former president hugged Nasser Shaer, a senior Hamas politician, meeting participants said. Embraces between men are a common custom in Arab culture.

Ewwwww.

Next thing you know he'll go to Darfur just to set the bar a little lower.

Carter already stated that the problems in Darfur don't fulfill the requirements of genocide.

Jimmah should just stay with his beloved terrorists. I am sure they could use someone to scrub the latrines and test new explosives.
