Heck, we saw it the other day with Bilal Hussein and the AP. He was granted amnesty under a new Iraqi law (and a US benchmark to boot), but that doesn't mean he was innocent of the charges and make his detention any less appropriate. The AP ignored why he was released and focused instead on his release to take another hit at the military.
