CAIR on PRNewswire Again

Speaking of front groups and falsehoods, here’s CAIR using PRNewswire again to spread vicious distortions and attacks on their critics, while promoting a fundraiser for Islamic Jihad leader Sami Al-Arian: CAIR: Calif. Theater Cancels Al-Arian Doc After Pressure From ‘Anti-Muslim Bigots’.

“By succumbing to pressure from anti-Muslim bigots, Starplex Cinemas sends the message that only some points of view deserve to be heard,” CAIR-LA Executive Director Hussam Ayloush. “It is un-American for any group to stifle free speech by seeking to censor political views.”

Ayloush said another theater has agreed to screen the documentary this evening. The theater, also located in Irvine, is a newer facility and is able to accommodate an additional 100 guests. That facility is also coming under pressure from the same anti-Muslim sources.

The event is open to those who have reserved a seat. Those wishing to attend the screening and panel discussion, please e-mail mbangee@cair.com to be put on a waiting list.

CAIR, America’s largest Muslim civil liberties group, has 35 offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.

I contacted PRNewswire, by the way, and asked them to review some of the articles they’ve released from CAIR, with pointers to information about the history of the group. Received no reply.

Compare Electricity Prices in your area. Texas Electricity is deregulated; you have the right to choose Texas Electric Rates from among many Texas Electric Companies.

You sure make me doubt and think that i was wrong defending that small headness.
